Wow... i saw the news of him being taken to hospital yesterday. Didn't anticipate this.

That's a real shame. Was a capable player and a good chap by all accounts RIP

More than capable I'd say. For a while there in late Villa, early Middlesboro days he was one of the best defenders in the league.

Sad news.

Cracking player, should have played for a top team and should definitely have won more caps. RIP.

Shocking.

I saw he'd collapsed but thought that he'd recover as most people seem to do. Terrible.

RIP.

Was he the player that did that hilarious hand on his head what the fuck thing when Uriah Rennie sent someone off, who wasn't even on his team. I loved that. That was the moment referees lost all and any respect from then on.

That wasn't meant to denigrate. He did this remember...

Scary, and very sad indeed. A decent player and a good sort seemingly.
4 years younger and a damn sight fitter than me.
Make the most of your time lads.

Sad news.

United seemed to be linked with him forever.

Terrible news, RIP.

He was a very strong CB and had an infectious smile. I was only young when he was playing but I thinking he could have done better than Villa.

Real shame.
