Carra in a bit of a spat with a UTD fan and his 14 Yr old daughter

He will be sat alongside Andy Gray on BeIn Sports in about 6 months. Sky will deop him like a stone.

He was a shit pundit anyway. You can't spit at someone. Let alone a teenage utd fan who probably looks like a Millies Cookie being so fat and spotty.

A sad sign of the times: 'Ha ha, there's a bloke I hate, I'll wind down me window and wind him up to impress me stupid daughter, but first I need to get me phone out so it's preserved for eternity - I'm sure he'll take it well...' Quite a feat to spit across a road, into a window, bend the spittle Matrix-style past the bloke and into the face of a kid who presumably is behind him. It's almost as impressive a trick as his magic one pound coin lob at Highbury that took out 175 Gooners.

Stupid from Carragher, but not surprising. He'll have more time now to go to Goodison.

What do you mean?

That's fucking stupid from him. I thought it was just going to be him slagging them off or something. Definitely getting sacked.

Personally I've no sympathy whatsoever for people who try to wind up others like that. Short of being shot they deserve all they get. What do they expect - a round of applause? If you poke someone with a stick, don't go crying to the media if they poke you back.

I only don't mind any punishment Carragher gets because he's been doing my head in with his tiresome moans about the club. A decade or more of silence from him will do me fine.

Well I guess he was trashed, so the whole seatbelt thing is currently third in the misdemeanor issue log

If I decided to wind up a manc, and they reacted, I'd just feel foolish and think 'that taught me a lesson'. We live in a society now when people do this stupid behaviour and then go crying to the media if they don't get away with it. Incredibly pathetic. People in public life should travel with bags of horse manure to throw straight in their faces.

What's this "Carra loves Everton and hates Liverpool" stuff? He hates the cunts and loves us.

Really? He seems to love doing fawning interviews with their players at Finch Farm whilst subjecting our players to his irritatingly panting critiques. I suspect his mad dad is luring him back to the dark side. Very effectively by the look of it...

Nah it's his job. Henry was interviewing Harry Kane the other week, is he suddenly a Spurs fan?

There's loads of us on here who rip our club to shreds. It's only because we care so much. Scholes and Keane are always tearing into United, for example.

I do agree with this, though. It shouldn't be okay just because someone is famous to wind them up with impunity. However, Jamie should've known better.

The narrative that will play out in the media is 'celeb traumatises poor girl' but it ought to be 'girl realises her Dad is a dick and learns not to copy his stupid behaviour'. Really, adults today behave like the most idiotic kids imaginable, and then complain when they get a reaction. This bloke deserves to have his phone smashed up, a quick slap and then sent on his way.

It's common knowledge that Carragher was born into a family of fanatical Evertonians. By a quirk of fate, he ended up signing up as a youth player with Liverpool. On his first day of training, he turned up in his replica Everton kit and was sent home.

In his autobiography, Jamie said that it was when he started playing for Liverpool and got abuse from his former Evertonian mates, he realised he had to fully commit himself to LFC.

I too am quite prepared to believe that he still has a soft spot for the Blues which may be revealing itself now he has been retired as a player for a few years.
