Next season's fixtures are going to be announced today 9 am.

I guess we'll play Tottenham away first.

United to play Fulham at home.

Don't the reigning champions usually get a home game on the opening day? I'll guess Arse away for us.

That one with 4 days gap is the only time on paper (cup games excluded) that the fixture list is bad though.

Decent start, decent finish & not meeting a bigger side for a few games which may help get momentum going nicely.

What happened to the top six not playing each other on the opening day.
Or are Arsenal not considered top six any more?

You couldnt really write a better start and finish for us.
Add that to fact between 8th December and 12th Jan the furthest we leave the North West is Wolves. Thats huge. No long trips at all

We're the first team to play spurs at their new stadium.

Let's fuck their opening day up by twatting them.

Yeah, someone mentioned something to me earlier about a horrendous December, it's not really. A couple of big games at home, that's it. Great few opening games too, the fixtures have been pretty kind to us for once, in terms of who we play at the more crucial times.

Nah its a good december.
Bad would be all those games with a couple of London trips and Southampton away in there. We barely clock up 400 miles total over Christmas.
Nice home tie in the FA cup will be the icing on that cake

We'll probably get Southampton, away ;)

Hahaha fucking hell

Newcastle will welcome Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal to St James' Park in their opening five Premier League matches this season.

11 August: Tottenham (H)

18 August: Cardiff (A)

25 August: Chelsea(H)

1 September: Man City (A)

15 September: Arsenal (H)

Jaysus, if City win at Arsenal the league could be over by October; their next 6 fixtures are against the 3 promoted teams Fulham, Cardiff and Wolves and also Brighton, Newcastle and Huddersfield!

The league won't even be remotely over by October. I don't see City doing as well as last season at all.

Yep. Overall it's a very nice fixture list, bar those two games at New Year.

Some tasty opening fixtures too :
  • Wolverhampton Wanderers v Everton
  • Newcastle United v Tottenham Hotspur
  • Fulham v Crystal Palace
