England v India

I think it was a good track for batting but got some good swing.
Kohli showed that it was a batting track though and a lot of both team gave their wickets away.
I thought that little spell from Curran was a glimpse into a great future, and at the other end Anderson still bowled beautifully.

Im getting tired of these next big thing Batsmen being unable to kick on. I know the game is changed and we see far more Pietersons than Pontings with the bat, but they still should be taught, job one is to build an innings.

Not every ball needs to be thrashed at. Test isnt 20/20

Too many kids playing far too much short form.
It needs addressing.

If you could raise your complaint with the dubai mafia, I'm sure they will fix it for you.

It's been a good match....but the bowling was not unplayable from either side and the conditions were not treacherous , yet most batsmen looked like they had zero clue about what they were doing. They have become have so used to playing in a different way that being judicious with shot selection and leaving the ball seems least cricket-like thing for them.

Really wickets have been lost for both team due to mindset more than exceptional bowling or condition.

Watched test cricket after a really long time. Agree with kingjulian, some very poor batting on display.

While some may have been soft dismissals. The pitch was turning, you could see that from Rashid who can't bowl on flat tracks. Therefore Ashwin became very dangerous to the English attack.

Also for the seamers, the pitch was spitting. Some kept low, some bounced high.

It was a proper test match. Where batsmen looked to cash in, but got out when the unpredictable happened.

Root trying to copy Flintoff by going to Pandya. Lolz.

Root was lucky there. You are supposed to be ready for the bowler. If I was Shami I'd be calling for the 3rd umpire. Root was far far too late in sticking his hand up to say dead ball.

That Pujara run-out was very costly for India...he was leaving balls well and he is the guy who can eat balls and spend time in the middle.

Kohli showing a chink in his armor there. It was pure selfishness from the capt. At least Root would have walked himself.

If England are smart, they'll declare at 80 overs. Have 45 minutes tonight.

But Cricketers are usually risk adverse.

That was terrific
Woakes and Bairstow suddenly showing that we remember how to bat test cricket.
Love it.

Because we are idiots. They've known the weather forecast for days. This test was always likely to be a 3.5 or 4 day test. They should have declared yesterday evening and bowled a few at the Indians before close.

Much as I want England to win the series, going into the Oval match as a decider would have been exciting.

Obviously the plaudits go to Anderson and Cook but jesssssssssus THAT delivery from Rashid.

Take a bow son
