Just a shout for Brad Jones and Luca, huge ask for him today and he came through with his head held high.

Agreed. He did really well. Flapped once or twice but he did well.

I really hope these two games have somehow earned him a move to a different team in order to play first team football. He deserves it.

remember when james was in goal and your heart was in your mouth with every ball into the box? well that's how I felt today with jones but fair play to him for stepping up after the tragedy of his recent past.

He's come into a team at a difficult time, without much mins under his belt. Credit to him for being professional. Glad to see him celebrate his son's arrival with first team appearances and wins too!

Brad Jones
“I might not play in the FA Cup final, but I’m just proud to be a part of it”
“I’m not the most important player here but they are the biggest family in the world.”
“Think people know that’s for Luca, that’s for my boy. He was on my mind throughout the game. He was my biggest fan.”

Lovely quotes there. Bring a lump to the throat.

Good game. He deserves a winners medal after whst he's been through. Hope we win for so many reasons.

Too be fair he had absolutely fuck all to do, he made one catch where he palmed it down to his feet(bounced) it which due to his nervous performance on Tuesday made me semi nervous but ....

not a bad job really is it, 400K a year to sit on your arse and when you do finally get a game its at Wembley!!

Good fucking luck to him.

I think it's great that he got to experience Wembley and winning there .... and feeling like he is part of the team. Memories for life and the highlight of his career no doubt.

I saw the stats (missed the match 'cos I fucked up on the KO time - bastard) and they say Everton had 7 shots at goal and 4 on target so he must have made 3 'saves' ..no ?
one from osman's wicked deviating ball, one from jeva soft overhead kick and one from cahill (i think)
