Same! Not going to lie but I was glad for the international weekend for a little respite. Don't like to admit this but I was more interested in the CL draw than our draw in the UEFA Cup

BBC reported Walker went off with a hamstring problem whilst playing for England. That’s a big blow for them if it’s bad

Do we really have 3 away games in a row?

Where does Klopp rank against all time league greats? If at all.

Let's not forget Covid. Any planning that we had in place for the squad went out of the window. This wouldn't matter if it affected City as well but we know it didn't

Where does Klopp rank against all time league greats? If at all.

Ferguson’s record for his first nine years at United is pretty similar to Klopp’s. Two titles but no European Cup. If Ferguson quit then, he would still have been considered one of the greats.

Where does Klopp rank against all time league greats? If at all.

I think Klopp’s better than Jose and it’s give and take with Wenger. Both transformed their clubs and I think Liverpool is in a better place now than when Klopp took over. Same as what Wenger achieved at Arsenal. Both sacrificed trophies to build up their clubs.

I suppose without Europe, Klopp sits alongside Brian Clough. Hard to think Clough’s not an all time great though

Where does Klopp rank against all time league greats? If at all.

Excluding Europe seems weird to me and I can’t thinking of a manager’s legacy without it

For the league, City should win it more often than not. I don’t see how you can disagree with that and say we underperformed. Jose not being able to beat Rafa in two CL semi finals is a much bigger underachievement and his league titles doesn’t make up for it

Nah, not with the squad we had. Coming second to City and Real is about right

Where does Klopp rank against all time league greats? If at all.

Rafa had us playing possession based football and trying to control games. It’s not unique to Pep

Maureen and Wenger not winning the CL with the teams they had really tarnishes their records.

Counter pressing is a thing now. I don’t see many teams copying Pep. Arsenal I suppose…

Third greatest Liverpool manager of all time. Higher than Maureen easily but on a par with Wenger. Klopp and Wenger changed English football

Wenger and Arsenal fans would trade every single one of those FA Cups and a title or two for a CL. I think Ferguson and Guardiola are probably top two and then you can argue against Maureen and Wenger

Oh you remember that?! I thought only Arsenal fans would based on the things some are saying

Dreadful in Europe though. Klopp's got 3 league titles as well

    Gakpo

I think all our forwards are good enough to be a part of a rotation of starters for a title chasing team, even Gakpo. It depends on formation, who we play and form. Only Mo would be guaranteed starter but even then only just. We have a good set, not perfect, but they are a reason we’re...

He can start by learning how to pass with his right foot and not always cut inside onto his left to do it

    DeAss

He's improved no doubt but still misses too many chances like that sitter against City for example. Diaz's miss took the spotlight away from that. We've not won the trophies that we've deserved under Klopp but we've been very consistent in winning football matches under him. Only Guardiola and...

    Big game blues

We’ve been on the end of some bad refereeing in these games this season. Should have got a penalty against Arsenal and City at Anfield and no point talking about the VAR fiasco at Spurs

I would say Nunez is potentially the perfect player for that

He really should have got an assist as he made the chance for Robbo where it was harder to miss the goal than put it on target. He didn't have a good game yesterday but none of our players did

    Gakpo

Yeah, he's having a bad season but I reckon Klopp brought him so that we don't lose control of the match I get what you mean though. When Gakpo's on the wing, I want him to have a go at the full back but I've never seen him do that. He's just passes it back

    Gakpo

He's our Havertz. A manager who prioritises controlling games might like him

We had to make subs as both Szobo or Mo were done as were others tbf My only complaint with Klopp is he didn't bring Danns on
