    Pre Match Brighton (H) - Sun 14:00

Someone mentioned (can’t remember if it was here or elsewhere) that Jones’s drifting out to the left is what made Gomez at LB work. Will definitely be great to have him back.

    Pre-season already!

Reckon Trent will be holding. And Mac Allister doing the same in the second half. Needs must and all.

We’ll need to be with the fixtures that were thrown at us during the festive period.

I’d take Smith Rowe in a heartbeat if they want rid of him.

Do you know there’s an OLSC in Halifax? Should be a good crowd to watch today

    Pre Match - Chelsea (H) - Saturday 17:30

Based on Klopp always choosing him for big matches. He came back later so he’s eased him back in... I can’t see any way Klopp doesn’t start him against Chelsea.

    Pre Match - Chelsea (H) - Saturday 17:30

Firmino will be one of the first names on the team sheet. Henderson and Fabinho will start in the centre, likely alongside Keita I would think... massive match for him. Really hope Robbo is fit for this one.

    Covid-19 & Football

The season is not null and void (UEFA basically already confirmed this will be off the table anyway). President of their FA: Table as it stands is final table (no PPG, etc). Top three to Champions League. Promotion and relegation still taking place... two go down, two come up. To be...

    EFL Trophy

A few interesting players to watch in this today, but LFCTV is giving me issues. Anyone have a stream that works?

    Lyon

More interesting starting xi than the last few at the very least. Alisson will obviously play v City, but it will be interesting to see where Bobby and Mo are at for that. Interested in seeing how Wilson does with those players as well... I’m still pulling for the lad (if for no other reason...

    Squad Stretch

This 100%. Brewster might be good enough now, Wilson might be good enough, etc. but we have to be looking for better than “might.” Brewster will still get time and if he proves himself, deal with that “problem” then. Replace the squaddies with players that will contribute and we’re off...

    Squad Stretch

I figure we’ll just replace our outgoing players, but with more quality: Sturridge out, new forward, on par with the quality we already have, in Moreno & Clyne out, new FB who can cover both sides equally well, in Lallana out, new, better attacking midfielder, in If Mignolet leaves, we need...

    UEFA Cup Final

I thought Emery had figured out that you don’t play Özil against better teams. I don’t know if I can think of anyone as overrated as him. Soon as I saw his name on the team sheet, I knew Arsenal would lose.

    UEFA Cup Final

So who’s winning this one? I probably hate Arsenal even more than Chelsea, but surely it’s an easy decision regardless... Arsenal needs to win for Champions League football next season, Chelsea is already in. I want Arsenal losing.

Liverpool vs Spurs (CL Final 1st June)

Can’t believe I watched those Karius errors again... first time I’ve watched them since the final, and I was pissed then so I hardly remembered them. Fuck me.

    Play Off Semi Finals

I hate every team that’s not us... but Leeds hates the mancs so that’s reason enough for me to want to see them come up. Failing that, Derby please.

    Training camp stuff

I’m sure I’m the only one who gives a toss, but Trent needs a new squad number... it’ll do my head in if he’s 66 again.

    Liverpool v City (KO 01:05)

There were actually a number of people wearing United shirts at this match too (not as many as City, but I probably saw at least a dozen walking around prior to kickoff). Overwhelming majority of the people at the match wearing LFC shirts, etc. though.

First half was pretty dreadful, but second half was entertaining. My daughter’s first game as well.

    Keepers

100% agree. Will give us a better idea of what we have in him and hopefully make us look less desperate as we search for a new keeper. Karius is done. Klopp said (or was meant to have said) that he wanted to assess Karius' mental state before deciding to pursue a keeper or not... it's plain...

    Enter Shaqiri (Done Deal!)

He's probably the best we can realistically hope for in the position given the fortune we're going to have to spend on a new keeper.

    Transfer Window

We need three... I actually think our midfield is quite strong with Keita, Henderson, Fabinho and Chamberlain once he returns (not to mention Gini and Milner as options), but we need a replacement for Coutinho as we don’t have that type of player (still think we’ll sign Fekir). We need a backup...

    Chester vs Liverpool Match Thread

Good finish... really cool. Moreno put it back in the middle of the box after having his shot stopped, Wilson chipped it over the keeper when most would have tried to blast it through bodies. Second goal was nice too... controlled ball from Jones off his thigh and then first time finish past...

World Cup Day 15 - Clash of the Titans

Fantastic results for us... Brazil was always going to get through their piss easy group, as was England. Made up that Sadio and Mo will be back early on. Let’s get our business sorted and roll on the new season.
