There's more chance of Boris Johnson demanding a second referendum on Brexit, than there is of Martial signing for us.

That's quite bizarr? They act like a small poor (I will not say african here so I look like a racist, it could just as well be North of Norway) village who has one person ever becoming a star. All they dream of is he will sooner or later come back and represent them at something sooner or later. Often he opt to be president of the Whole country so he can enrich himself further.

Just admit it you're thinking Keita's village

Hakim Ziyech is supposedly hankering for a move to Liverpool. He already has 6 goals and 5 assists for this season. Supposedly would only cost €30m

Ziyech Agent Courts Liverpool, Dismisses Everton

A little crack at the Bitters to carry you through the international break.

After seven games in 22 days, and the accompanying barrage of related news, press conferences and analyses, the fall into the void of the October international break has seemed even more abrupt than usual. Liverpool have dispatched their internationals, while Jürgen Klopp toils away with the remaining flock at Melwood to make sure the Reds’ impressive start to the season isn’t adversely affected in the interim.
With little in the way of football to watch or react to, news outlets scramble to fill their column inches. Occasionally, they are fortunate enough to be offered a helping hand by players or their representatives doing or saying something newsworthy, or, barring that, something hilarious.
“I hope that there will be a better club than Roma – an Arsenal or Liverpool. [Everton] would be crazy for that boy, he should not go to Everton.” These were the delightfully disparaging words from Hakim Ziyech agent René van der Gijp, as he utterly unprompted and with the transfer window still months away spoke about his client’s future.
The Ajax midfielder has been linked with both Merseyside clubs in the past, and as he enters his third year at the Johan Cruijff Arena, both player and agent appear primed to move on. Whether his quality is in fact such that he should snub last year’s Champions League semi-finalists Roma and 1995 FA Cup winners Everton remains an issue of debate, however.
Exceptionally trigger-happy, Ziyech is a concoction of nutmegs, backheels and speculative long-range efforts of the sort that regularly prospers in the Eredivisie, but could easily run into trouble in the faster, more physical English game. Furthermore, the idea is exclusively being drummed up by the player’s representative, with no corroboration from journalists connected to the Anfield outfit.
As we wait for proper football to return, though, a little shot at the Toffees will do just fine.

I would take him in a heart beat.
He has the tools to be better than Mane imo.

I dont see it, Sadio has blistering acceleration, good skill on the ball, good finisher, constantly improving his distribution and has a bit of bite to his game. Hes well ahead of Martial who has pace and not alot else.

Would it be a good idea for Martial to come to another club where he needs to hang around on the fringes waiting for his turn?

He's going to turn 23 this year and he needs to go somewhere where he can play with freedom week in, week out and kick-start his career.

where was Sadio at 21-23? Martial was fantastic in his first season with Manure - 10+ goals in the league, 15+ overall. The speed, skill, finishing ability and strength is all there. Sadio now is better but if Martial say was with Klopp or Pep for 2-3 years, he'd better than Mane is now ... But unlikely to happen!

Leeds fans must feel well privileged for having him at 16 and then again at 36. In the meanwhile he has won the league, played in CL finals and earned around 100 mill pound and Leeds has gone down two divisions, fought back once and are well established in Championship and along the way they have lost their market cap With 100 mill pound.

I can’t stand Leeds but at the same time at least you knew they hated the Mancs as much as we do...

If Milner plays his twilight years there it would be nice for him eh...

I've hated Leeds since 74, Bremner, Giles etc but their fans hatred of Manc U does indeed match our own and probably merits some tolleration.
