That's nonsense. He's gone out of his way again and again to comment on him and his performances last year.

Anyway, very good footballer but I guess he knew he wouldn't be getting in the side each week and he wants to play.

Given what some footballers are going for these days, to get Joe Allen for that coin knowing he's a quality midfielder who'll cope against anyone each week is great business for Stoke.
