Even worse than Markovic's shank
That brings up a more general point (as the Bishop said to the nun). Many players today seem to think it's almost a cause for shame if they don't hit either side of the ball rather than through it, even when the best, or sometimes only, option is to just hit straight through it. Take Markovic (I think it was him) last night - there was no way in that position and speed he needed to try to bend the ball into the net but still he did it and almost sliced off the corner flag as a consequence. It's become a strange technical obsession.
Footballers inoverthinking shocker.
I never thought I would see the day.
I don't know if you're telling me to edit it, or that you edited it for me.Edit.
I can't for the life of me see what you've done. I think spending an entire day with a toddler brings you down to their level, both physically and mentally. The latter, Ruairi. I'd be far too polite for the ******* former.

Yep, that's what I'm seeing too.
This is what we see
