Sign a bloody new contract. We just tied down Lovren for another year, why can't we do that with Can? This should have been done last year or we should have sold him. No way should the club let him walk for free.

At what cost ?

I can't figure out if he's available on a free next season, who is in competition for him ?

I'd be surprised if it was Real, Barca, Bayern et al. So the chances of getting a contract of 100k a week wouldn't be great if he can't go to another Premiership club.

I'm not fussed as I don't see him making any position Klopp uses as his own.

I believe next year is the final year of his contract and it was reported that we'll keep him irrespective of whether he signs.

He's a young, versatile German international with a lot of good qualities. He'd get 100k easy on a free. I can't imagine he'd end up at Barca or Bayern as you say but wouldn't surprise me to see a second tier team like PSG being interested.

Its been reported a few places that Juventus are interested, and have scouted him several times this season.

As if we'll be letting him go.

We paid 10M for him, have put 4 years work into him, he's 23 years of age and is turning himself into a very good premiership midfielder. Why would you not keep someone like that?

Can has been hampered by his injuries but looks to be learning. Not nearly disciplined enough but he has all the tools to be an all action CM. Lack consistency but still young.

Don't see him leaving anytime soon.

He'll go Dortmund next year if we dont sign him up. Guaranteed
