[article]Safet Susic, who coached Bosnia at last year's World Cup in Brazil, has returned to the game after being handed the reins at French club Evian.
Evian, who were relegated from Ligue 1 at the end of last season, confirmed the appointment on Monday without revealing the length of contract signed by the 60-year-old Susic.

A former Paris Saint-Germain player, Susic spent five years in charge of Bosnia, leading them to their first major tournament finals at the 2014 World Cup.

However, after being eliminated from a group that contained Argentina and Nigeria in Brazil, Bosnia had a poor start to Euro 2016 qualifying and Susic was sacked in November last year, with Mehmed Bazdarevic replacing him.[/article]

[article=http://www.malagacf.com/en/new/first-team/malaga-cf-and-nac-breda-reach-agreement-for-adnane-tighadouini/241/73145]Málaga Club de Fútbol and NAC Breda have come to an agreement for the transfer of Adnane Tighadouini (Ede, Holland, 30/10/1992) to the ‘Malaguistas’ until 2019/20. Tighadouini, 22 years old and a Moroccan national, essentially plays on the left wing. A dominating player, he scored 15 goals last season, becoming one of the highest scorers in the Eredivisie, and one of the big revelations of the Dutch competition. Tighadouini will shortly be officially presented, although a date has not yet been set.

Adnane Tighadouini (Ede, Holland, 30/10/1992) began his footballing career with Vitesse Arnhem, the team with whom he made his Eredivisie debut in 2010/11. Fond memories for the Dutch winger with Moroccan nationality was his debut match in the Dutch first division against FC Utrecht, when he scored a goal. In 2011/12, after beginning the season with Vitesse Arnhem, he was loaned out to FC Volendam, competing in the Jupiter League (Holland’s Second Division). Here he took part in nine matches and scored two goals. In 2012/13 he continued to play in the Jupiter League, this time he was on loan to SC Cambuur-Leeuwarden. During that season he competed in 22 games, with seven goals and seven assists. He also played three KNVB Beker (Netherlands Cup) matches.

Tighadouini returned to Vitesse Arnhem at the start of the 2013/14 season, although during the winter transfer window he joined NAC Breda in the Eredivisie. He took part in nine matches and scored one goal. Again with NAC Breda, in 2014/15 the Dutch winger had a great season in the Eredivisie, playing 33 games, scoring 14 goals and three assists, although the team couldn’t avoid relegation. He also participated in two KNVB Beker games, scoring one goal.

Adnane Tighadouini has been on international duty with Morocco’s under-20s and under-23s, the latter with whom he took part in the African Championships – the qualifiers for the London 2012 Olympics. His youth and quality as a player make him one of the most talented young, internationally-renowned footballers.[/article]

He scored one goal in 23 matches for the Serie A number six, after which he returned to Qatar. But not for long now that PSV have now completed the signing of Maxime Lestienne on a one-year loan deal. The Belgian hopes to be wearing the No 16 shirt, like he did with his former clubs.

The 23-year-old, a product of Norwich City’s youth system, follows former Cardiff team-mate Charlie Horton, Lee Erwin, Sol Bamba and Chris Wood in making the switch to Elland Road this summer. Adeyemi’s career began at Carrow Road and he made his senior debut aged 17, before going on to enjoy fruitful loan spells with Bradford City, Oldham Athletic and Brentford - playing under Uwe Rosler at the latter - as he gained valuable first-team experience. As a youngster he declined an offer from Cambridge University to pursue his footballing career, and March 2010 saw him named as the League One Apprentice of the Year, an accolade recently won at Championship level by United’s Lewis Cook. Adeyemi’s five years as a professional with Norwich – totalling 17 appearances for the Canaries - came to an end in summer 2013 and Birmingham City subsequently snapped him up on a two-year deal. The midfielder became an integral part of the Blues’ team, making 40 appearances and scoring three goals along the way to being named as the club’s Young Player of the Year in his debut season. Adeyemi was chosen as Birmingham’s vice-captain at the start of the last campaign, but Cardiff moved to take him to South Wales over the summer in a deal reported to have been worth over £1million. He featured 23 times in all competitions during 2014/15 and will now add to Rosler’s midfield options as the head coach readies his side for the new Championship season.[/article]

[article]The club has secured the signature of the 100-cap winger on an 18-month contract, which will see him join up with the squad for the remainder of this year and the 2016 season.

Duff (36) joins the Hoops after returning home to Ireland following a spell at Melbourne City in Australia.

Duff’s previous clubs include Blackburn Rovers, Newcastle, Fulham and Chelsea, with whom he won two Premier League titles.

Originally from Ballyboden in Dublin, Duff had previously spoken of his desire to play in the League of Ireland and Shamrock Rovers are delighted to have secured his signature.

Shamrock Rovers would like to thank club sponsors, Pepper Ireland and Hyundai Ireland for their kind support in enabling the club to make this signing.

Speaking about his move to the Hoops, Duff said: “I am very excited to have signed for the club. It’s great to have it all finalised and now I’m just really looking forward to getting back on the pitch. I am still out with a bit of an injury, but I should be ready to get back training fully before the end of the month. After that I will be very keen to get back playing regularly.

“I am as excited about this move as I have been about any in my career, be that Newcastle, Chelsea or any other. I left Ireland 20 years ago to go and make a career as a footballer and so now it’s great to be back. And I am definitely not just here to see out my time as a player; I intend to make a positive contribution to Shamrock Rovers and to the league.”[/article]

[article=http://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/article/ali-al-habsi-signs-for-royals-140715-2546563.aspx#RsMJXlEQWjWRo9KP.99]Reading Football Club are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi has this afternoon put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the Royals.

The experienced stopper travelled as part of Steve Clarke’s squad on a pre-season tour to Thailand last week, playing the first half in a 2-2 draw with a Thailand All Stars side whilst impressing in training out in the Far East.

And, less than 48 hours after landing back in the country, the club have acted fast to tie the 33-year-old to a permanent deal this afternoon, keeping the former Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic keeper at Madejski Stadium until the summer of 2017.

Royals manager Steve Clarke said, “Ali is exactly the type of experienced goalkeeper that we need at this time and I'm delighted that he has chosen to join us.

“Ali has good knowledge of the English game both in the Championship and the Premier League. He is a great shot stopper and has already impressed everyone with his abilities in the shooting sessions during training.

“Alongside Jonathan Bond and Stuart Moore, Ali brings the goalkeeping department to a very good level and the competition for places should ensure a really high standard.”

Born in a village on the outskirts of Muscat, Al Habsi began his career with hometown club Al Midhaibi before making the step up with Al Nasr and winning the Sultan Qaboos Cup.

The 6’4” stopper was spotted by former goalkeeper John Burridge, who was working as a coach with the Oman national team and European football beckoned with Norwegian First Division side Lyn Oslo.

After three successful years in Norway, he signed for Bolton Wanderers in January 2006, playing Premier League and UEFA Cup football at the Reebok before making the permanent switch to Wigan Athletic in 2011 - after a successful loan season as the Latics’ number one and Player of the Year the previous season.

Now, with more than 100 Premier League appearances to his name and in excess of 100 international caps as an Omani national hero, the vastly experienced Al-Habsi will challenge fellow new signing Jonathan Bond for the gloves at Reading this season.

Chief Executive Nigel Howe commented, “Having been out to Oman myself in recent years, I saw first hand how high a regard Ali is held in out there – and with a wealth of experience at the very highest level back in England, I am certain he will be an extremely valuable addition to a squad which is now really starting to take shape.” [/article]

Carl Jenkinson - West Ham (loan)

[article=http://www.whufc.com/News/Articles/2015/July/14-July/Jenkinson-re-joins-on-loan#CmJoCW3io0wBA2lW.99]West Ham United are thrilled to announce that Carl Jenkinson will be re-joining the Club from Arsenal on a 12-month loan deal.

Jenkinson became a fans’ favourite during his spell with the Hammers last season and made 36 appearances in all competitions.

The England Under-21 defender made his debut for the east London Club as a late substitute during the 2-2 draw at Hull last September.

The 23-year-old then made his full debut against QPR in a 2-0 victory at the Boleyn Ground on October 5 and went on to become the first-choice right-back.

Jenkinson is delighted to be returning to Upton Park and hopes to play a big role under new manager Slaven Bilic this season.

Jenkinson said: "I'm really happy to be back after last year," he said. "It was a good season for the Club and a good season for myself.

"To be honest I just wanted to come back here and I'm happy everything's been sorted out. I've got another season here and I can't wait.

"I'm a young player and I haven't had too many experiences of different clubs, but I loved every minute of it here. Everything about it is fantastic - it's a real family Club, the lads are great and the fans are great, so it ticks all the boxes you want when you join a football Club.

"I've got to come in, show what I can do and prove myself to a new manager. That keeps you on your toes and I've got to go and do that in pre-season. I'm looking forward to it.

The talented full-back started his career with Charlton and had brief spells with non-league sides Welling United and Eastbourne Borough before making a move across London to join Arsenal in June 2011.

Jenkinson quickly showed Arsene Wenger that he was ready to play in the first-team and started 43 games for the north London Club. He also has experience of playing in the Champions League.

His performances have not gone un-noticed and he has been a regular in the England Under-21 side and started all three games in the European Championship Finals in the Czech Republic this summer.

Jenkinson was also called up by Roy Hodgson to the full senior squad back in 2012 and made his debut against Sweden when he appeared as a late substitute during the 4-2 defeat and will be looking to add to his one cap for England.

Jenkinson will become the sixth new arrival this summer following the signings of Darren Randolph, Pedro Obiang, Stephen Hendrie, Dimitri Payet and Angelo Ogbonna.

The right back will join up with his new manager and the first-team squad in the near future and will be looking forward to playing in the final ever season at the Boleyn Ground.[/article]

Freddy Adu - Tampa Bay Rowdies (free transfer)
CJ64JivVEAA5psI.png

[article]One-time youth phenomenon Freddy Adu signed with second-tier American club Tampa Bay Rowdies on Tuesday.

Adu - once considered one of the best young footballers in the world - has struggled to follow through on his potential, with the Ghana-born former United States international having spent the past two years being linked with clubs all over the globe but playing very little football.

The 26-year-old hopes to reinvigorate his career under his former USA Under-20 coach Thomas Rongen, who is in charge of the Rowdies in the North American Soccer League (NASL) - a competition below MLS.

"Hey guys follow @TampaBayRowdies my new home," Adu wrote on Twitter.

"Great to be back together with @ThomasRongen."

Rongen and Adu combined to lead USA's U20 side to the quarter-finals of the 2007 U20 World Cup with the latter - as captain - finishing the tournament with three goals.

Since then, Adu has failed to make an impact at the likes of Benfica and Monaco in Europe, before returning to MLS - where he made his professional debut as a 14-year-old - with Philadelphia Union in 2011.

Since leaving the Union in 2013, Adu has signed with Brazil's Bahia, Jagodina of Serbia and two Finnish clubs - KuPS and KUFU-98 - but has played just 10 senior games, although Rongen is convinced he can get the best out of the forward.

"I'm someone he [Adu] relates to and someone he feels comfortable with," the 58-year-old coach said in a statement on the Rowdies' website.

"I like daring, creative players and Freddy has those qualities. His signing has immense upside for a club that is already making its mark in the NASL."

The Rowdies - NASL champions in 2012 - sit seventh after two matches of 2015's Fall Season, having finished second behind New York Cosmos in the Spring Season.[/article]

Will Grigg - Wigan (reportedly £1 million)

[article=http://www.wiganlatics.co.uk/news/article/striker-will-grigg-signs-for-wigan-athletic-from-brentford-2546393.aspx#fZZhCw0yiYzIJ7Z7.99]Wigan Athletic have signed Northern Ireland international striker Will Grigg from Brentford for an undisclosed fee.

The 24 year old has passed a medical at the DW Stadium and has put pen to paper on a three year deal with Latics, to the delight of manager Gary Caldwell.

“Will is the one we were after, he’s a goalscorer, that’s what he does and why we’ve signed him,” he said, “there were other clubs in the chase, including from the Championship, but he’s chosen to come to and we are very happy about it.

“He’s a proven goalscorer at League One level, and had a superb season last year on loan with MK Dons so he knows this division and is a real quality addition.

“The squad is beginning to take shape now and there is a great atmosphere in the camp, the addition of Will and Craig Davies last week has added to that because these are players with a track record for scoring.”

Solihull born Grigg began his professional career at Walsall, having signed from non-league Stratford Town in the summer of 2008.

The striker made his debut in the first team by December 2008, and in a five year spell with the Saddlers, he scored 27 goals in 63 league starts and 99 league appearances in total.

In 2013, Grigg made his move away from the Banks’s Stadium to sign for Brentford, the fee being set by a tribunal.

He scored four in 16 starts for the Bees, but found first team football hard to come by, sparking a move to MK Dons last term.

Grigg shone in Sky Bet League One in 2014-15, scoring 20 goals in 31 starts for MK Dons, as well as grabbing a brace at the Stadium MK in their famous 4-0 victory against Manchester United in the Capital One Cup.

The striker becomes Gary Caldwell’s eighth summer signing alongside David Perkins, Richard O’Donnell, Craig Morgan, Donervon Daniels, Max Power, Sanmi Odelusi and Craig Davies. [/article]

[article=http://www.crewealex.net/news/article/crewe-sign-midfielder-david-fox-2546734.aspx#mQFbwM4M7o7y4yUI.99]Crewe Alexandra is delighted announce the signing of midfielder David Fox on a 12-month contract. The Leek-born Fox has become Steve Davis’ third summer signing following the arrivals of fellow midfielders Billy Bingham and Adam King.

The 31-year-old could now be involved at Newcastle Town on Friday evening and then at Nantwich Town on Sunday afternoon as part of our pre-season build up.

David began his young career at Exeter City before signing professionally for Manchester United in 2000 on his 17th birthday. He was unable to make the breakthrough into the first-team squad at Old Trafford but during his time there, he did gain invaluable experience in Belgium with Royal Antwerp. He also spent a brief time on loan at Shrewsbury.

The former England Youth International made a permanent switch to Blackpool in 2006 and went on to make over 100 appearances for the club, winning promotion to the Championship through the play-offs in 2007.

Fox joined Colchester United for the first time in 2009 and he made just 21 appearances for the U’s before his former boss Paul Lambert elected to take him to Norwich City. He won promotion to the Premier League with Norwich City and played consistently well in the top flight before he fell out of favour with incoming boss Chris Hughton. He was loaned out to Barnsley in September 2013, making 7 appearances.

After 76 appearances for Norwich, Fox signed a permanent deal with Colchester in October 2014 and during his only season in Essex, he scored 2 goals in 33 appearances as the U’s escaped relegation on the final day of the season.

The deal is subject to FA and Football League clearance and is subject to medical.[/article]

[article=http://www.leedsunited.com/news/article/17ketuogkspu41nzr9wobaz2s6/title/goalkeeper-turnbull-joins-united#sthash.wl6EE1Vw.dpuf]We are pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeper Ross Turnbull from Barnsley on a two-year deal.

Turnbull, a former England youth international, becomes United’s sixth summer arrival so far after making the switch from Oakwell on a free transfer.

The 30-year-old, who featured 27 times last season, has enjoyed a successful trial period at Thorp Arch after linking up with Uwe Rosler’s squad for training earlier this week.

Turnbull’s career began at Middlesbrough and – following a series of loan moves – he became a regular fixture during the club’s 2008/09 Premier League campaign.

His displays for Boro prompted Chelsea to make a move in July 2009, and Turnbull headed for Stamford Bridge on a four-year contract to provide competition for Petr Cech.

As back-up to Chelsea’s first-choice stopper, the former Crewe and Cardiff loanee found opportunities limited in the capital but still enjoyed a trophy-laden four-year stint there.

Turnbull boasts winner’s medals from the Champions League, Europa League and FA Cup, as well as being part of Chelsea’s Premier League-winning squad in 2010.

He departed for Doncaster in 2013 following the expiry of his contract at Stamford Bridge and played 31 times before switching to Barnsley last summer Turnbull is capped at Under-16, U17, U18, U19 and U20 level for England.

He could now make his first appearance in a United shirt on Wednesday evening, with the squad being split for pre-season friendlies at York City and Tadcaster Albion.[/article]

[article=http://www.feyenoord.com/news/news-overview/simon-gustafson-signs-for-feyenoord?]Feyenoord has signed Simon Gustafson with immediate effect from Swedish outfit BK Häcken. The 20-year-old midfielder was at De Kuip on Wednesday afternoon, where he penned a four-year contract that runs until 2019. Gustafson is the third new signing ahead of the new season after Dirk Kuyt and Marko Vejinovic. He will wear the number 27 shirt.

Gustafson arrived in Rotterdam on Wednesday morning and headed to the Erasmus Medical Centre. After a full medical he travelled on to De Kuip with his agent, his father and players’ guide Jan Mastenbroek, among others. The Swede was welcomed there by Feyenoord management and ushered to one of the business units to officially sign his contract.

Gustafson is a talented Swedish youth international who was named in last month’s Swedish squad that won the European Under 21 Championship in the Czech Republic. A left-footed attacking midfielder, Gustafson can play in various positions in the middle of the park.

Martin van Geel says that Gustafson’s arrival is broadly supported at De Kuip. ‘We have followed Simon intensively for a very long time,’ the technical director explained. ‘So we are very happy that we have been able to tie him down for several years.’ Van Geel describes Gustafson as a creative midfielder with an eye for goal. ‘That’s why we’re convinced that Simon can be a source of added value for Feyenoord.’[/article]

[article=http://en.clubatleticodemadrid.com/noticias/agreement-with-porto-for-the-transfer-of-jackson-martinez]Atlético de Madrid and Porto have reached an agreement for the transfer of Jackson Martínez to our Club. The Colombian striker will sign his contract as an Atlético for the next four seasons.

A full international with the Colombian national team, Jackson Arley Martínez Valencia (Quibdó, Colombia, 3/10/1986) began his career with Independiente of Medellin, club with which he was champion of the Finalización Tournament in 2009, in his last year in his country. From there, he made the leap to the Mexican Jaguares de Chiapas, where he stayed for three seasons and scored 33 goals in 64 matches.

From Mexico, the international Colombian crossed the pond to play in Europe. Jackson signed for Porto, where he has played the last three seasons, scoring 92 goals in 133 games. With the 'Dragões' he has been League champion in the 12-13 season, two-time champion of the Portuguese Super Cup (2012-2013) and has won the three last top scorer trophies in the Portuguese League. In addition, his performances in the Champions League have not gone unnoticed, since the Colombian striker has scored 13 goals in 24 games.

A full international for Colombia on 38 occasions, Jackson Martínez played the past Brazil World Cup, where his national team was beaten in the quarter-finals. Here, he scored two goals in Colombia’s win against Japan (4-1). And was also present in the recent 2015 Copa América in Chile, where he played three matches.

Jose Luis Perez Caminero expressed his joy for the arrival of the Colombian striker. Our Sporting Director believes that he is a great reinforcement: "We are very pleased with the agreement, because Jackson Martinez is an extraordinary striker, able to rapidly solve any attacking play inside the box. Thanks to his size, he heads very well and interchangeably uses either feet to shoot. I am sure that he will greatly increase the potential of our team and will bring plenty to the group. We are delighted with his signing because he is a football player used to compete at a top level in Porto and has shone brightly in important competitions such as the Champions League."[/article]

[article=http://www.safc.com/news/team-news/2015/july/safc-capture-lens]Sunderland AFC has confirmed the signing of Dutch international forward Jeremain Lens.

The 27-year-old, who plays as a striker or on the wing, has joined from Ukrainian side FC Dynamo Kyiv for an undisclosed fee, signing a four-year deal.

Lens has played in both the UEFA Champions League and Europa League, reaching the quarter-finals of the latter competition last season.

Having worked with Sunderland head coach Dick Advocaat at PSV and AZ Alkmaar, the two are now reunited on Wearside.

Speaking about the move, Sunderland’s Head Coach said: “We have signed an international player and I am delighted to welcome him to Sunderland.

“He is a very well-known player in Europe and has played over 30 games for the Dutch national side, which shows his calibre.

“I have worked with him twice already, at PSV and AZ, so I know him well; he is fast and he has scored goals everywhere he has played so that will help the team.”

The Amsterdam-born forward has been capped 30 times by his native Holland, scoring eight goals.

Lens began his career with AZ Alkmaar picking up an Eredivisie winners’ medal in 2008-09, before moving to PSV in May 2010, working again with Advocaat when he took charge of the club in 2012, while the player has won Dutch Super Cups with both clubs.

Overall, Lens scored 34 league goals in 96 games for PSV, where he won the KNVB Cup in 2011-12.

Speaking about the signing, the Black Cats sporting director Lee Congerton added: “We’re absolutely delighted to sign a player of Jeremain’s quality, who has Champions League experience and is a regular for Holland, one of the world’s strongest national teams.”

“He’s a direct and quick player with or without the ball and those characteristics are something we’ve been lacking as a side.”

The forward moved to Kyiv in June 2013 and enjoyed a successful two seasons with the club, winning the Ukrainian cup in his first campaign and following up with a league and cup double last season.

Lens was part of the Dutch side which finished third at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

He also played a key role in helping the side qualify under Louis van Gaal, scoring five goals and adding five assists during the group qualification stage.[/article]
