[article=http://www.acmilan.com/en/news/show/151086]Adel Taarabt spoke to the Milan Channel shortly after arriving in the city:

"I’m very happy to be here and it’s an honor to play for the strongest team in Italy. I already spoke to Seedorf and he told me what he expects of me. I can’t wait to start playing. My role? I like to play behind the forwards or even on the left or the right. Balotelli? I don’t know him personally but it’s a great honor for me to be able to play with him. I0’m a player that likes to attack, score and dribble. Briatore? He was the club president at QPR and we have a good relationship. I’m sure he’ll be happy that I’m Milan player. Jersey number? I’ve worn 7 and 10 in the past but I’ll take whatever number is free. A message to the fans? I’ll give 100% and I hope we’ll have some fun together”.[/article]

he's always flattered to deceive that lad , strange move by milan .

Plus he's quite obviously mental. He keeps asking himself questions and then answering them.

Have Valencia signed anybody? Seems like they're selling or loaning out everybody.

[article=http://www.brentfordfc.co.uk/news/article/james-tarkowski-31.01.14-1330159.aspx#O5s1CFDYMMq9xJyP.99]Brentford have completed the signing of central defender James Tarkowski from Oldham Athletic for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old has signed on at Griffin Park until the summer of 2017.

As part of the deal, James will return to Oldham on loan when the loan window reopens next Saturday, February 8.

Mark Warburton, Brentford FC Manager, said: “James is a very talented young defender who we have monitored for a period of months.

“He is a good footballing centre half, he is comfortable in possession and has a good physique.

“We are delighted we have been able to get him to Brentford on a permanent basis.

“It will give us good choice at centre half and excellent quality in that position.

“James ticks the box for us in terms of his age and he has lots of development left in him.

“We think this is a very good piece of business for the Club.

“James will go back to Oldham for a month when the loan window opens.

“He will come back to us later in the season and is a big part of our plans for the future.”

James came through the youth ranks at Oldham and made his debut for The Latics as an 18-year-old scholar in January 2011, against Brentford.

He played nine games in the 2010/11 season and turned professional that summer, playing 18 games in 2011/12 and scoring his first Oldham goal.

James played 26 games last season and has established himself at first choice at Boundary Park in 2013/14.

He has played 26 of Oldham’s 28 Sky Bet League One matches this season and 36 in all competitions, scoring three goals.[/article]

Michael Ngoo - Walsall (loan)
[article=http://www.saddlers.co.uk/news/article/michael-ngoo-arrives-jan-2014-1330457.aspx#YKWuUZlMKWK1LePr.99]THE SADDLERS have secured the services of highly-rated Liverpool front-man, Michael Ngoo, on a loan deal until the end of the season, subject to the necessary clearance being received.

The tall and powerful England Under-20 International cut his teeth at Southend United, where his outstanding ability saw him come onto the radar of all the top clubs.

After a trial at Manchester United, he joined Liverpool in September 2009 at the age of 16.

A regular on the scoresheet for the Under-18s at Anfield, his goalscoring prowess continued for the reserve team, for whom he was top scorer in 2011/12.

He was loaned out to Scottish Premier League outfit, Heart of Midlothian, in January 2013 and benefited greatly from playing regular, competitive football, including an appearance in the Scottish League Cup Final.

His development continued at the start of the current campaign when he went on loan to newly-promoted Championship outfit, Yeovil Town, before returning to Liverpool in October.

The 21 year-old is a player of undoubted talent and ability who will add to Dean Smith’s attacking options.

“Michael is a lad that I have been watching for a long time,” said Smith. “He is the right calibre and profile to fit into what we are trying to do here.

“He’s big, strong, athletic and can score goals. Technically he is very good and will improve what we have already got here.

“On top of all of that, he is also a good character and someone that I am looking forward to working with.”

Ngoo will wear squad number 30 and stands by to make his debut as we take on Coventry City on Saturday (kick-off 3.00pm). However, please note that this game is subject to a 9.30am pitch inspection at Sixfields Stadium. [/article]

[article]Everton manager Roberto Martinez has boosted his goalkeeping options after completing the signing of promising young Czech Republic goalkeeper Jindrich Stanek from Sparta Prague.

The 17-year-old, who stands at 6ft 4in tall, joins the Blues for an undisclosed fee and has put pen-to-paper on a two-and-a-half-year deal which will keep him on Merseyside until the end of the 2015/16 season.

An Under-19 international, Stanek is yet to make a senior appearance at club level, though he was an unused substitute earlier this season for games against Slovan Liberac, FK Teplice and Sigma Olomouc in the Czech top-flight.

The acquisition of Stanek further strengthens the Club’s goalkeeping department, which is currently stocked with senior professionals Tim Howard and Joel Robles, along with youngsters Mateusz Taudul, Mason Springthorpe and Russell Griffiths.[/article]

Salomon Rondon - Zenit St Petersburg
BfUkuyxCQAAXieB.jpg

[article]Zenit St. Petersburg appear set to sign the first-choice striker of their Russian Premier League rivals Rubin Kazan, Jose Salomon Rondon, in an audacious move apparently confirmed by Rubin defender Chris Mavinga.

With 12 goals in 19 games this season, Venezuela striker Rondon has been almost Rubin’s only source of goals at home and in the Europa League amid a difficult campaign for the club, who have dropped to 11th in the Russian top flight.

At Zenit, the 24-year-old Rondon would increase already fierce competition for places up front, where Brazil striker Hulk has largely pushed aside Russia frontman Alexander Kerzhakov.

His departure would leave Rubin exposed up front, with only Alexander Prudnikov, who has just one goal to his name in the last two seasons, and youngster Serdar Azmun.

Rondon has 12 goals in 35 games for Venezuela and helped take his country to the semifinals of the 2011 Copa America.

Three players have already departed Rubin this winter since longtime coach Kurban Berdyev was fired last month and replaced by the relative unknown Rinat Bilyaletdinov amid rumors of financial problems.

Midfielder Bibras Natkho left as a free agent and is now with PAOK Salonika, while defender Ivan Marcano has been loaned to Olympiacos and winger Alexander Ryazantsev sold to Zenit.[/article]

Rubin's been selling players

He has a different profile than our others forwards."[/article]

Vadim Vasilyev (vice-President AS Monaco FC) : "Aymen Abdennour is a solid defender, with a profile which we did not have in the squad. He is young and is going to be able to learn beside Ricardo Carvalho and Eric Abidal. It has been a long time since the club follows him so we are satisfied to have been able to find an agreement with Toulouse to make him come to Monaco. He is going to have time to adapt itself in this second part of season because he is a little hurt for the moment. It is a real choice for the future."[/article]

BeoSpMmCEAAP88t.jpg

[article]Diego Perotti has left Sevilla to join Argentine giants Boca Juniors on a six-month loan deal.

Perotti was strongly linked with a move away from the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan throughout the winter transfer window but the market closed before a deal with a European club could be done.

Perotti reportedly turned down advances from clubs in Germany and England but has clinched a switch to Boca, the club his father represented in the 1970s and 1980s.

Mundo Deportivo reports that Perotti will spend the rest of the season at Boca, who have the option to buy the winger for €2.5m at the end of the loan period.[/article]
