I thought Utd make enough to spend big most windows. Is that a myth?

Seem like they tried to sign Boateng (called Maureen and said no) and Godin (Said no without calling Maureen). But when it comes to Financial, it can be that one of their bonds are up for repayment in not too distant future if I am not wrong. They probably have the cashflow to trade well, but back in 2010-11 they had huge finacial issues and I think they refinanced through high yield bonds. Not sure how that story went.

Try Mbappe to PSG.
Wasnt he a youth player? I didnt think he was signed by Monaco? He was there from about 13 wasnt he?

I wasnt counting home grown just signing and selling.

I could be wrong.

Part of me wants Spurs to do well this season, 2nd after us would be nice. The sheer insanity of the valuation of players as well as the well-known let’s buy some trophies-thinking would be rattled somewhat if a team that does absolutely nothing in the market could still compete.

I find it all mildly refreshing to be honest.
That would be the Eriksen part I guess.
;)

You're absolutely right, didn't know the criteria was that the player had to be bought.

However if you look a bit closer to home, maybe a little Brazilian cunt, Cuntinho if you will, you'll realise that Leicester ain't got shit on us.

Yeah I did think of him but it pissed me off haha.
I also think although we only paid 8m at the time that was a big old fee. Doesnt seem like shit now of course.
Factor in also that the £102m Barcelona paid for him is only 12 x the fee we paid and Manchester City have paid 105 x the fee Leicester paid....

Yup

Depends if you measure by absolute profit vs percentage profit.

Barcelona paid 50M for Neymar and sold him for 196M ... I don't think any other transfer beats 146M profit.

But it is only 300% vs 10000% on Mahrez

Fuck. That.

I want them relegated. I want Alli to snap his neck practising "The Floss". Twat. I want Son to spontaneously combust while thinking up the steps to his next handshake. I want Kane to choke on his own slobber.

If memory serves, Barca ended up spending a lot more than 50M on Neymar.

Nah. Kane and Alli have been unbearable, not forgetting the constant diving.

Pochettino looks like a arrogant prat.

But I actually like Eriksen.

Part of you can fuck right off!

Who do you prefer to finish second behind us then? And why? I have never had anything against Spurs really, and I’d much prefer them to any of the Manchester teams. Especially now as it would be a great applause to team-building rather than team-buying.

Anyways I’ll prepare a snappy comeback in due time.
