Aubameyang, schurrle, goetze and the new captain Reus.

Surely on its day that can only be bested by the MSN trio at Barca?

No idea but they got Goetze and Schurrle for what, £45m this summer?

In this day and age , that's insane value for money

There's Dembele too.

Edit: And I nearly forgot about Christian Pulisic.

Good. I hope the Dortmund fans sang YNWA. Did the Mancs have a strong team out?

It may be a little early to ask this, but was there any sign of resentment about Götze's return?

Seems pretty split although the fact that he's already posted an apology explaining how leaving G Dortmund was a mistake he wouldn't repeat if he had a chance is pretty telling

Both teams had good line ups. Utd with close to their starting defence aswell bar De Gea.

Dembele looks a talent. Mor aswell.

Pretty much their first team, although Mhktarin (I'm not even going to bother searching for the correct spelling) was given a run out. The only weak link I could see was their keepers, they played their 2nd and 3rd choice keepers a half game each. They made a lot of substitutions but they were all regulars or semi-regulars at the very least.

Pre-season or not 4-1 isn't good news for them.

There is mourning as well as excuses on the back-pages of the Daily Mail. The match report is an absolute hoot as it's not just the score-line but the small crowd that seem to worry the reporter!

Pre season means fuck all, unfortunately.

I don't really give two shits about Mourinho if I'm honest.

Be nice if we could carry our early preseason form into the season, though.

We beat Dortmund 4-0 and had a shite season. Utd will win the league now

United will hopefully not win the league but after what we did to Dortmund - I really don't give two fucks about them and we should not be scared of anyone going into this season - as I keep telling you all - the world is full of bang average players - its all about how the coach can motivates them, sets the team up, and inspires them for each game.

They have a fantastic team, expect them to reach the semis of the CL this season.

Too many arrivals and departures – they lost Hummels, Subotic, Gundogan and Mkhitaryan in the same transfer window and brought 5-6 new first team players. They do have fantastic potential in that squad though, I can't think of another team that can compare in terms of sheer talent of young players.
