Virgil and Gini has just now scored. Dutch win 3-0. Great finish from Gini. Germans have lost one drawn one in nations Cup and not scored.

I need to stop putting money on VVD to score. Done it every game for us & Holland this season until tonight (cos I forgot they played tonight)  FFS.

Ryan Babel hit the bar and VVD knocked in the rebound. That's a sentence I never thought I'd write

From the extended highlights I watched it seemed clear that Depay was by far the best attacking player on the pitch. I wrote about him a few months back – he seems to have found a new level and I don't think he looks better now because he plays in France. He can strengthen almost any team in the world.

I'd sign Martial and Pogba too.

Made up for both of them, they're both having good seasons so far.

Gini's goal reminded of Gerrard's first ever.  Well that drop of the shoulder anyway

I'm disgusted that he scored that goal for Holland instead of us.

Yeah but I don’t care if they are a shambles dude. I don’t want him wasting his magic with them.

Aha. So you are on the theory that Gini ran into a Genie and were granted three magic wishes this summer... And now he waste it for the love of the wrong people? Never thought of that. Plausible. Explains a lot actually.

I'm enjoying the cameos of Gini when he is unleashed from DM duty. I think he can turn into an even more useful attacking asset for us.

    Yep.

After realising I'd got Keita's role in Germany wrong I've had a look over his highlight reels & done some reading, & considering he usually played the '8' role there, for me it makes sense for him to drop back there & push Gini further up into the '10' role as he seems to relish the freedom further up.

Whilst Hendo is being eased in & Milner recovering from injury it seems to make sense to get Keita settled in easier when we don't have to worry about defensive duties quite so much in the upcoming fixtures.
