Perfect excuse for the club to ease him out and get him off the wage bill. Unfortunately for him his worth to the club is minimal.
 
Well he did insist on Andy Carroll sacking his agent and using his (and Fat Sam's) one at the last minute of the then record breaking 35 million deal, and he did give Flanagan a 5 million quid deal, and it did cause a lot of shit when the yanks found out all the connections back to Newcastle (who he managed for a while and still had connections with) and to the Flanagans, given the deals were all done with Flanagan's dad on a golf course in Miami.

The conundrum here fr the club is if you take a stance and terminate him on moral grounds, do you then have the fucking stones to do exactly the same if say Salah comes out and does the same in a year's time?

I doubt we'd all be so willing to fuck him off for nothing if he was a 100m rated defender. It's convenient that he's shite.
 
Just because something may or may not be in a contract doesn't mean it needs to be enforced. If there's anything in the contract about criminal offenses and guilt then fuck him off. If Salah does the same next year, don't enforce it. Go on Salah twat your missus just to see.

Well I've been told shitloads more, but under pain of death. The stuff I posted above is public domain if you have a dig. But the whole axis of Dalglish / Flanagan / Carroll / Carra is not great. Gerrard got involved later and had to move to LA just to get out the loop. The weird thing is I know so many different aspects about this that if I wrote it, it would be one of those 10 page things you used to get in the Sunday Times centre spread. I'm pretty sure I'm in a unique position of info, hearing the same stories from different sides who wanted to kill each other at the time.

But fuck all that.

@Woland on a related note, as far as you know is there any truth to the rumours of shady/self-serving deals done by Rafa (Dossena comes to mind)? A short yes/no/maybe answer would suffice, unless you want to tell more.
 
Not personally. But while Liverpool is called a city. Really it's a village. It's big in some ways and very small in others.
