You know what, there's been a fair share of negativity here lately, some warranted, some maybe not. But let's remember some great times, from whenever. Post some great games/goals, from whenever you want, whatever it means to you, let's revel in what it means to be an LFC fan.

That was 88, and Forest were a good team.
For younger or non-UK members, that performance warranted a special edition of 'Sportsnight' that night. Tom Finney was interviewed and complimented that it was the finest exhibition of football he's ever seen. High praise. Worthy though. I'll let others more eloquent that myself add comment to this performance (I've had 12 pints).

The only home game I missed that season ... typical [emoji2]

I remember sitting next to my cousin in The Anfield Road, and at halftime in that Palace game, he jokingly asked if I was going to buy the video: Liverpool 10 - Palace 0

Which I thought was quite prescient, given it was only 3-0 at halftime. I think.

I was there. Amazing night. I saw us beat Sheffield Wednesday 5-1 away at the end of that season, and we were almost as good.

I was in the then Kemlyn Rd, and I remembered the best worked free kick we ever did. So I watched this and er. No. Didn't happen.

My memory. Fucked

I had that on VHS back in the day and damn near wore it out. Beardsley was on another planet that day. I remember it well. Funnily enough Sky had a retrospect thing on about it last week and I watched it again - I still remembered Motson's commentary! Fucking epic game and rightly revered.

I remember me and our kid walking home after watching this and not being too impressed. Maybe it was because Forest were so poor on the night but it didn't seem too memorable. Afterwards I was surprised at all the fuss over a 5-0 win at it wasn't too unusual them days and the Tom Finney appreciation counted for a lot with the media.. Personally i think I've seen us play better many times.
