Fuck knows - I have only seen him play in that game against United - he was good with a few touches and that free kick. All I know is that if he does not get a chance in the first team then I trust Klopp's judgement - and you will be proven right. Well it's not quite right, coz it was Smicer that came on. Rafa neglected Didi to include Kewell, who then got injured. The Finnan injury at half time forced the Didi sub.
Yes of course I knew what he meant and about Didi too. rolls eyes. I was being sarcastic too cos we all knew how long Kewell lasted and even if he stayed on I doubted he would have made much of a difference. That's how much I rated Kewell.

I don't know. But why he gets so much flak for celebrating in 2005 genuinely bemuses me. He ran a few yards after the shoot out. I never got why that wound so many people up. There were Scousers in wheelchairs, maybe even one or two in graves, who leapt about a bit at that moment. It's weird to think if he'd stayed in the dugout with an ice pack on, looking miserable, he'd have had less abuse!

Maybe I'm just naive and not being cynical, but I generally don't really buy into players (especially Liverpool players) "not trying" or "not caring", or wanting to be taken off in a European final.
