Gonzalo Higuain wants to join Liverpool, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The Napoli striker is wanted by a number of elite teams including Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.
But Higuain has reportedly told Napoli to accept the offer from Brendan Rodgers ahead of a potential summer switch.

Daily Express.

As much as I'm wary of the striker that arrives in the Premiership late in his career - I'd be all over this one

I think they're like the Metro reliability wise.

He's a good player but would cost us as much in fee and wages as Alexandre the Great ... Take the great instead - more suited to our team.

Break the bank for him. I'd happily make him our most expensive signing ever. 4 good years left in him. Goal scoring record is at least in the top 6 strikers around Europe over the last 5 years.

"With reference to the stories being spread by some of the media about the possible departure of Higuain for a fee in the region of €50m, SSC Napoli would like to make it clear that the Argentinean attacker has a release clause in his contract valued at €94,736,000," the statement said.

Gonzalo Higuain is ready to snub rival offers to join Liverpool this summer, according to reports.
The striker is eyeing up a transfer away from his club Napoli and Manchester United and Arsenal have been linked with moves.
Liverpool are also keen, and reports in Italy say Higuain has decided he wants to move to Anfield, with the Reds his favoured club to join.
The 27-year-old has been valued at £72million by Napoli but Liverpool could stand a chance with a bid of about £42m.

£42million on a 27 year old, christ. Still, he'd be superb for anything under £30million.
