Reports today suggest a move for Diego Costa might be on the cards. Well they're not really reports more like opinions from out of work footballers. Still it begs the question. Would you take him? He's a massive whopping thunder cunt obviously but maybe the time has come for us to have a massive cunt in the team (Said the cartographer to the actress) Thoughts? :)

So close! A superfluous 'a'..

But, we need to strengthen mdlifed and defence first. Then we can cast flirtatious glances in Costa's direction.

I definitely would, yes. Would never happen though.

It's a strange one, Costa. I don't understand why he's so desperate to get off, or why the manager is do desperate to get rid.

Mods can you fix the title? I balls up! 'Costa a lot'? What a bell whiff I am - Just drop the 'a' innit! x

With the added bonus of not addressing the glaring weaknesses in the current side.
We are talking of Costa. and my pov is I would rather go with Mahrez (replacement for Coutinho) and Vardy. Klopp wants VVD and Kieta and doesn't seem to want to compromise.
Spurs are about to sign Davinson Sanchez for £25m seems like a good signing, one we can easily afford

Are you going to come up with that every single time another club buys a bargain basement player ? Because Spurs are buying in Aldi until their stadium is paid for (and even well after that unless they can dramatically increase their commercial earnings - though the increase in salaries they are going to be pressured into could easily eat that up too).

Spurs are a bit like Leicester or Southampton at the moment as far as buying power is concerned. They are going to have to gamble on 50/50s. We don't want to be in that market, we want/need to be buying 80/20s.

Rodgers nearly signed him to play for Suarez. I'd love to have seen that strike partnership. Never a dull match.

Would I take him now? Definitely. I'd swap him for Sturridge or Origi in a heartbeat.

Diego Costa wouldn't be interested in coming and will have fallen out with everyone and want to go to Spain within 12 months. Hypothetically, he would be an amazing addition. In reality, there is no reality.

He would get a red card every thirty seconds If he played the same way for us.

Your mind has been twisted, £25m is not bargain basement! As to your Aldi jibe, they do really good Norwegian smoke salmon for £2.49. City bought Mangala for a record fee back then for a defender, it was something like £42m. What a bag of shite he turned out to be.

Klopp worked with bargains at Dortmund and turned them to world beaters

There's no such thing as good smoked salmon .. it should always be eaten raw !

I would take him in a heartbeat. I doubted him back when he was in Spain, but since then he's proven himself as one of the top #9's in the game, playing under different managers, but always consistent and effective. I suggested this in the "Muddled thinking" post – if our offer is significantly above Atletico's (which is very possible, since Atletico don't spend like drunken sailors), Chelsea could convince him that it's his best option. This in an encouraging development.

Anyone seen any recent photos of him? I gather he's been AWOL and has been enjoying life rather than training hard. Athletico have probably asked him to get super unfit to reduce his price. They can't play him until January even if he does sign.

I hate the fucker and feel that his decline is only around the corner..

Koeman is interested. If Everton sign him then I'll say fuck very loud and go back to what I'm doing.
