Yeah, I know .. WTF eh !

After the Shaqiri rumour / possibility (and he was bloody ace yesterday vs England) there's this :

Glen Johnson could be off to Juventus in January, according to The Mirror.
The Liverpool full-back will becomes a free agent at the end of the season and Juve believe they can do a cut-price deal to sign Johnson, 30, in the next transfer window. However, reports say Juve may find Johnson’s big contract a stumbling block.

The Reds look set to miss out on Lazio’s Antonio Candreva, according to The Express. The 27-year-old - reportedly a target for Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham - is due to have talks over signing a new contract with the Rome club. Despite strong Premier League interest, Lazio have no intention of selling Candreva, who scored 12 goals in Serie A last season.

Wouldn't be shocked if Johnson goes; I get the impression we're not anxious to get him to commit to a new deal or even offer him one.

I'd expect Johnson to not be going anywhere in January. He might sign a contract elsewhere though.

Liverpool have been linked with a £24million January offer for Lazio winger Antonio Candreva.

The 27-year-old enjoyed a strong World Cup despite Italy's Group D struggles and has attracted attention from across Europe. But it appears the Reds are ready to jump to the front of the queue with a firm offer in the winter window.

Tutto Mercato Web suggest that Brendan Rodgers is watching Candreva's situation closely ahead of making a bid for his services. Lazio remain keen to keep hold of one of their star men but would surely be tempted by such a big money offer.

Some places are saying that Otamendi's agent is Jorge Mendes. Not really sure if that's true, but it wouldn't be surprising if true, given the clubs in this link.

No smoke without fire bub. If I knew who this guy was I reckon I might be pretty excited..

He's been pretty mediocre the last year or so I believe. Still would be a solid signing, I'm a big fan when he's on form.

I had a dream that in January Reus chose Liverpool over chelsea and the scummers, all to do with playing with/taking Gerrard's place.

In the great scheme of things not a patch on mlk's but it made me hard, sorry smile.

It's plausible if we splash the cash and Dortmund are looking to sell.

Don't think United can splurge again in January, Barca are banned, Real occupied with James.

Really just leaves us, Arsenal, Chelsea and City.

I bet Reus is champing at the bit to join us after watching our early season performances.

Interesting that Dortmund and us have identical stats in our respective leagues so far. 2 wins, 1 draw and 3 defeats. Only the goal difference is better by one goal to us.

I think we will definitely splash the cash again in January but think it will be for defenders. Can't see us being in for Reus unless there are a few very high profile depatures.
