Liverpool target Klopp in Turkey..

If he goes to City or Madrid, fair enough.

If he goes to Turkey, we done fucked up again

So basically, it's down to attracting players and not particularly about how good the manager is.
I don't think he is saying that..

In a nutshell we need a better manager and coach to take the current crop forward

One that is proven at the highest level and not one who wants to prove it at the highest level

I'm glad that you think the current crop can be taken forward, and they're not the horrendous group of under achievers and shit signings you've been telling us they are for the past 8 months.

I've quote my list in another thread who I expect us to sell..

Stop playing on words

Breathe in. .

Relax

And Breathe out..

Brendon is shit accept it. [emoji6]

If Sturridge had stayed fit we'd have been third or fourth.

And people would be saying Brendan deserves to stay, even though he did the same job.

If the league placing determines your view of the manager you need your head examined

In seriousness. There is players with potential as the season has gone on.. you could see that.

Brodgers is a decent coach... But not the right man to take us forward.. He has become somewhat clueless in his approach..

A new direction is needed.. A fresh approach..

It's more about how our best players and potential signings perceive the situation.

I don't think that would of been guaranteed...

Sturridge has not exactly fitted into the System when fit either..

He was fit last season and he did fine
True there is that.. who knows..

Point is we are where we are at.. We have seen some Embarrassing performances this season..

We have looked flat.. Brodgers has failed to get the new signings to bed in..

He has looked clueless at times and has been outwitted from managers from lower league clubs and the likes of Palace Hull and Villa

Outwitted in the cups and Europe.. and is still unable to fix a 3 year old problem.. The Defence..

Time for change... A Fresh approach..

Sturridge is definitely a mitigating factor, no doubt. I'm not sure how much Rodgers is to blame for not having an insurance policy for that happening - because it was pretty predictable - but he must've played a part.

But I've always said that my main concern has been the performances rather than results. We've been appalling all season - worse than in Rafa's last, IMO. More like Houllier's last. We still can't defend - surely that's now established as a permanent problem of this manager. And if we can't defend we're going to have to attack like last season to get anywhere, which means finding another player in Suarez's class. Which isn't going to happen.

Shut up, mark

I've never really understood the point, he put out his strongest team at Anfield and we were pathetic, at least we went back to basics at their place and gave a decent backs to the wall job that we were unlucky to not come away with at least a point from. It also coincided with the start of our run where we became more difficult to break down and we defended better as a side, only injuries, suspensions and a few dips in form from the likes of Sterling ended that. When we settled the backline and put Lucas back infront, we started to grind out wins and build some momentum. It wasn't the travesty it was made out to be, people just got their backs up because he dropped Gerrard for it.

Mark, you need to give up mate.
It's a noble effort and I applaud the loyalty. But under any circumstance Klopp > Brodge.
He's won things for a start.

Lucas was frozen out.. It wasn't a masterstroke. People where calling for it way before.. It took him half a season nearly to work out he needed to change his system. He fails to adapt when he needs to.. Like a tit when he started playing Lucas he goes and leaves him out of the game at Old Trafford..

That first of the season was truly awful. The worst I've seen since the Hodgson era.. A blind person could see changes where needed..

We struggled to beat low league teams in the cup.

We went out of the Europe League to Beskitas

Got Hammered by Arsenal

Beaten By Hull..

Poor performance in the Semi final of the FA cup

Bringing back a frozen out player into the starting 11.. erm..

Beaten convincingly by Palace at Home

These are to name but a few..

Different league, start of a new project, patience needed (hard to come by). He's not going to walk the league, he'll maybe get us back on a level footing in Europe and then a season or so in, people will be moaning that domestically he's not doing it. You're acting like it's a dead cert that we'll be back in the thick of it, you know, like we were last season.

With Klopp we'll win the CL within 2 years - dead cert.

Progression is the expectation, boom and bust is what we get with virtually every manager (except that clueless oaf Hodgson).

Talking about it on the way back from the game, there's none of us who have any belief in Brendan taking us any further either in tactics or transfers.

But that's still only if we can attract a winning mentality manager to replace him because there's lots about him I like.

We'd still have a shite defence, players that can't seem to fight their way out of a paper bag, & an entire team who seem to prove every week that they haven't been coached in the basic elements of football, set pieces, positioning, defending, crosses. We can't do any of that properly.

That would be enough to make me want a change.

I nearly cried reading that post..
Because it's so effing true..

What's the point of going for a manager who will make us a project, if we are not prepared to give our current manager, who is half way through his project, the time to finish said project?

Because the exam may have 45 minutes to go, but he answered all the questions wrong, and he's about to get an f anyway, so let's end it now.

We need some fucker like him in the midfield to boss stuff.

Imagine it. Klopp is available but we don't bother trying to get him and he goes and manages a team in Turkey.
The only thing worse would be if we asked him and he saw Fenebache as a better move. Then we really are doomed.
