"...and how big is the office, exactly?"
If you're called Brendan Rodgers it's probably best to avoid social media for a bit.
Not just because fans of Liverpool and other clubs are calling for your head on Twitter, but also because a new hashtag is trending, and it's not a supportive one, mate.

There's already a campaign underway to get recently departed Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp to Anfield.
The hashtag #KloppForTheKop is trending in Liverpool and there are a LOT of people supporting it.
Why is this? Well, it might have something to do with the fact Liverpool lost 6-1 at Stoke today and have generally been awful in the final few weeks of the season. It was supposed to be a perfect send off for Steven Gerrard. It was literally the opposite of that.

Klopp has just left Dortmund after a weird old season where they got to the latter stages of the Champions League but were also in the Bundesliga bottom three for a while.
He's now free and available. Would Liverpool want him?

Duly noted, Bernd.

Do you think the Honigstein reference could have been planted by Klopp himself? And/or Biermann's, for that matter?

No, I think both of them talk out of their arse.

Biermann writes for a magazine that more about football philosophy, groundhopping reports etc. than actual football news, interviews and so on. I really doubt that he's able to get insider information from anywhere near clubs, players, managers or the like. He simply recycles any snippets he gets from hear-say.

And Honigstein isn't renowned for his knowledge on the Bundesliga - he reports about the Premier League for German media.

They both know nothing, I guess.

Honigstein very much knows his shit. He's no rumour monger, and probably can't say whether Liverpool are interested in Klopp, but if he said Klopp would be interested in us, I'd take it pretty seriously.

We should be grateful Klopp had a poor year in charge otherwise we wouldn't have even the slightest chance of signing him, because we're absolutely shite.

I think its delusional to think we could.
Not because we couldnt, we could. But we wont. We finished 6th.
Mr Rodgers will be here.

Bild now claiming Klopp wants a move to England and is not interested in a sabbatical. They claim he'd find Liverpool very hard to turn down and likes the idea of 'the Anfield project' (or some such).

If legit we need to be all over this
