Plus Remy will be playing in a team with better players that score goals for fun not like QPR or them Geordies.

That argument doesn't always work. Some players thrive on being the focal point in a shit attack, e.g. Darren Bent.

Too true but look at sturridge he's continued and then some and I'm sure Rodgers can produce his magic for Remy.

6 - but potential in right system to be a 7 or so ... He can score 10-15 goals for us next year, which is what we need from him and 2-3 more players to assist Studge.

Agree with the assessment. He's a Sturridge-lite who on his day can deliver matchwinning performances.

Cisse at 0 is pretty harsh.

This would be the scale:

Aliadiere - 0
Pongolle - 1
Sanogo - 2
Gomis - 3
Cisse - 4
Govou - 5
Wiltord - 5.5
Saha - 6.5
Kanoute - 6.5
Remy - 6.5-7
Benzema - 7.5
Trezeguet - 8
Anelka - 9
Henry - 10
Thats brilliant.

Probably. He lives in Holland and you pretty much have to keep your tongue literally in your cheek to speak Dutch.

Are people really that dim that they see this as a direct replacement for Suarez? It's gonna take a few signings to even remotely replace him, you just can't. For £8m replacing Aspas/Borini, it's a good deal.

He's replacing the deadwood, we've got about £90m to blow.

Unsurprisingly I'm very excited and optimistic about this signing (if true) He's going to be mint!

Funny post but it makes me wonder why black players are compared to other black players, same with white players?

For instance Sterling is supposed to be the next John Barnes, why not the next McManaman?
Granted he's Jamaican like Barnes but I think you're getting what I mean.

I know but it was just to make it easy.

Poor old Pongolle. I liked him!
