Man City (H) 3-2, Post Match Thread

Also, gutted for Jordan, he let the occasion get to him there, massive loss for the Chelsea game.

Yeah coutinho for me too.
In attack and defense he gave everything.

City for all the money they have resorted to trying to wind up Suarez.
Stevie is making me cry here.

I'd actually say Silva was MOTM but for that first half, I'd say Sterling. Was ace and although not as effective in the second, he was still a great outlet for us.

Coutinho man of the match.

The worrying part is how we let them come back in the second half. No doubt Maureen will be scrutinizing that. We've had games where we go infront and just downshift a gear. We nearly paid for that today. It wasn't the right tactics that got us the third.

* Sterling ... Forget 1-2 years, this guy is one of the best players in the country right now. There I said it - and he's only 19. Fucking hell, what a job he's done, not to mention the coaching staff with him either.

* Suarez was a very very lucky boy. They got under his skin - and instead of doing what he's done most of the season, he started to lose it. He should have been sent off not once, but twice, for two rather blatant dives ... And the City players were absolute cunts for pushing it, but that's what we'd have done too. As @Lucas said, they should have an ear plug for him from his wife telling him to calm down!

* Lady luck loves us ... Sakho's penalty tackle, Flanno could have gifted Silva a penalty, and so could Skittles.

* That Skittles tackle on Fernandinho was IMMENSE.

* Really feel for Hendo ... I mean, I cannot believe he's out for 3 games and how worried we all are because of how critical he is to our team. It happens ...

* I was saying we should bring Lucas on for Coutinho after 50 minutes - we needed to hold the midfield. Allen coming on was the better choice by Rodgers - despite it being forced upon him by Studge's injury ... and Coutinho? Well ... You'll remember that goal your whole life.

* Last but not least ... Stevie ... another fantastic game at the DM slot. But forget that - I've never been more impressed by his leadership ... How he shielded FLanno from Milner, how you just feel his presence on the pitch throughout ... You can tell how much it means to him - that final whistle is that of a team uniting around their leader ... and that "COME ON LADS" to the crowd reminded me of Istanbul ... 4 more of them Stevie .. 4 more.

COME ON YOU MIGHTY MIGHTY REDS!!!

What an interview by Stevie!!

Unreal.

None of your business Geoff!!!

Coutinho motm just pipping Sterling

SAS were very poor especially studge

Skrtel superb again

Worrying how much we tired in the 2nd half and our pressing completely stopped.

Come on 4 games to go!!

carragher said he thought for us to win the league we'd have to overcome a really tough moment and we've done it twice now back to back against west ham and chelsea .

but these 4 games are massive now and could be tough without henderson and maybe sturridge .

'This is how we go at Norwich. Exactly the same!!'
