I am a fucking mess right now.
What am I going to be like if we actually win the thing

Is it possible any of these shite teams can do us a favour? These are Chelsea's other games:

Swansea A
Sunderland H
Norwich H
Cardiff A

Also, gutted for Jordan, he let the occasion get to him there, massive loss for the Chelsea game.

Whilst gutted for him personally I don't think he's been as good in the last 2-3 games as he has for most of this season. Seems to have gone into his shell a little, maybe nerves. I'm quite happy to see Allen replace him and have Lucas up our sleeves, as I think Allen has been doing a better job than Henderson when he's come on. Better defensively, better creatively and a better passer for sure. I don't think we'll miss Hendo as much as we would many others in the team .. despite his Duracell energy-like levels.

No. We need to do it ourselves.

Today was the best chance until Swansea were reduced to ten men

Says alot for Flanagan, that their tactics for the second half were to target and isolate Johnson, it worked too.

Gerrard was a man mountain today, and he looked shattered, but he fought tooth and nail, him and Skrtel both played like captains, while Coutinho was a constant menace to them with Sterling.

It's a bit worrying that Suarez and Sturridge look like they've gone off the boil a bit.

They've been so solid, it's ok they have bad games. But both seem a little too selfish. Suarez should gave been played in several times today by Studger and Coutiniho

Bless Him

i've not been a fan of allen but in fairness i thought he was very good when he came on . Got stuck in and got us back on the front foot , made some nice runs into their box which gave them something to think about .

I'd probably have coutinho as man of the match , forget the goal it was his work rate and effort which i loved , he really got stuck in . Actually that's something you have to give them and rodgers alot of credit for . Suarez , sterling , coutinho, they all work very hard and get stuck in which sometimes attacking players don't. I guess the workrate of henderson , suarez and gerrard influences the whole team.

As i've said before there is no point analysing these games too much , it's all about results now but i think they could learn alot from it if they watched it in the summer . Some of our bad habits were on display when under pressure , both as a team overall and individuals . And surely they should have done more to try and stop city getting back to 2-2 ..those goals were so obviously coming . But that's all for another day .

If anyone who went through that today doubts we'll do it, you're failing at life.

We are what winners look like. Take notes
