Monaco striker
9 goals last year - most for a kid under 20 in any of Europe's top leagues.
Spurs offered just under 20 million quid - Monaco rejected.
Signs new contract.
Most newspapers running with the story that Manure will sign him for 36 million pounds ... World record for a teenager.

Panic buy?

It's being reported as 80 million euros (60 + 20 in addons). Last season he scored one more than Origi and two more than Ngog. Bonkers.

Great potential, but £36.6m?! Whilst moaning that Chelsea and City bought the league, what a bunch of ducking hypocrites

He scored 1 in 4 in a shite league last season, about the same as Origi.
So they wouldn't pay the money for pedro, but will pay 30+mill for this kid just as the window is closing. lol no, no panic buy here, nothing to see move along.

According to French newspaper L'Equipe, which tends to be as reliable as anywhere, the deal for Martial is in fact worth £58m including bonuses. It reports that Monaco rejected bids of €50m and €70m, before accepting €80m.

From the Telegraph. Is Mendes De Gea's agent aswell?

Of course he is!

He looked good against Arsenal in the CL (it was Arsenal Monaco beat, wasn't it?).

Utd are chucking about tons of money. It's got to come good at some point.

Bizarre that Januzaj has been bombed out too after finding himself starting a couple of weeks ago.

With Hernandez going, they are ridiculously light up front. Plus the central defence is pretty dire.

I'm sure this kid is a good prospect, but there's nothing that justifies this price tag.

If we beat them, they'll undoubtedly go into meltdown.

Where did you see that? Just had a quick Google and couldn't see it.

On Twatter

Incidentally another tweet says Monaco have sold €182.5m this window!

- Martial €80m
- Kondogbia €30m
- Kurzawa €25m
- Carrasco €20m
- Abdennour €20m
- Ocampos €7.5m

Can't seem anywhere reputable reporting this 80 mill still, but it does look like the 36 was the basic, and there might be some add ons lolz
