That was shite from west ham, kept clearing the ball to the arsenal midfield.

Good that Arsenal won. Keeps the pressure up on Everton so they can't afford to slip up against City. On the minus side, Everton plays City in the penultimate game of their season and there's still 3 matches in-between. Hopefully they don't drop points in those tricky games and render the City match academic.

Everton have Utd on sunday. Thats a very big game for them. Arsenal have a tricky away game against Hull.

Arsenal win is a good result for us. It means Everton have a lot of work to do to get 4th spot, hopefully including beating City.

HOPE THEY DO CHELSEA AS WELL...

I promise to change my avatar to Borini's mug (for the rest of the season) if he gets the winner or a goal that ties the game.

Be funnier if you changed it to Downing or Adam, that's what Fabio would want

You should let him know, I'm sure that'll help motivate him.

Come on Borini!!

Sunderland team have been spotted using the affordably priced Holiday Inn Express in Manchester (by a colleague). Must be gearing up for tightening the purse strings in the Championship.

Fuck me. The players must be wondering if they should just pay for their own rooms in a nice gaff.

I'm trying to think what the worst result any title contender has ever had is. Nothing much stands out. I remember Utd losing a big match at West Ham in 1992 that cost them the title. Arsenal losing at Blackburn in 2003 was pretty bad too.

Surely City or Chelsea dropping points to this Sunderland side, at home, would be the worst ever, though. They look resigned to their fate.

The year we won the double, Everton lost to Oxford United in their third from last game of the season, surrendering the lead to us in doing so. That was pretty unexpected and enormous. I think that Oxford team contained Aldo and Ray Houghton too...

Indeed. It is about 3 doors down from a much nicer hotel that a lot of my team are staying in and we have a limit on hotel room costs which im sure are a drop in the water to the expenses they would provide to players that they would want to stay in good beds!
