Bartra should've hauled him down and taken a yellow, more proof they need some centre halves.

If we win against norwich then we have officially made the top 4 isn't it? We'd be 10 points ahead of arsenal with 3 games to go.

Gary bale, tick a boo son.

What pace , strength & composure he's shown with that goal.it's funny as about two months ago , Ancelotti came out and said how hit and miss he had been and since then he's been on it.

Stepping back from all the madness around being possible champions, if we secure top 4 this weekend that's fantastic. I don't think there's anyone here that wouldn't been delighted with that at the start of the season.

Thanks Brendan

I read somewhere that during Barca's last league defeat get only people on the pitch who covered less distance or ran less than Messi where the 2 keepers.

I watched a bit of the Copa del Rey - Messi, for the most part just stands around walking about - when he gets the ball his close control and burst of speed is amazing, but he's a big part of their problem.

As a team, they seem all over the place - shocking keeper, no CB's, ageing midfield, forwards playing out of position, No one leading the forward line, 2 new head coaches in the last 2 seasons.

A few problems to be fixed there.

Yes I am. When it comes to people who get paid as much as those guys do anyway.

I agree the salaries are obnoxious and disgusting(it's the cause of my huge dislike of Moses' lack of effort), but 5 touches between 1 meter from the touchline at halfway to round a Barcelona defender(they're pretty handy) to nutmegging Valdés to win a cup is alright.

I've been saying the same for months now. I think he's been waiting on the World Cup pretty much.

Iniesta is still trying to make it happen but doesn't have enough going on around him.

Everton 2 -3 Crystal Palace
"In my time at Anfield we always said we had the best two teams on Merseyside - Liverpool and Liverpool reserves." Bill Shankly.
P.S. Ross Barkely, £38 m, PPPFFFFFFFFTTTTTSSSSSTTTTTSSSSSTTSSSSSHHHHIIIITTTTE!!!!!!!!!! Are journalist license's coming free with lucky bags nowadays?

I said it last year - with the fact he took 40% of their shots or something insane like that ... I can see him at PSG or City in the next 1-2 seasons.

I've always had more fear about Chelsea than City.

I'm not really arsed about tonight. I just want Sunderland to do them chav cunts at the weekend.

Same here regarding the fear of Chelsea. I can only put it down to one thing which is their manager. I just know he will bring his team and play some defensive shit knowing he has the players to hurt us on the counter. It is just the way he is - and they will play for him more so than the Chelsea fans. The way I see it - when he was at Real Madrid he was stuck with players who don't really give a fuck about some loud mouth as they the players are the stars not the manager. With Chelsea - I have always thought that the players are more scared of their manager and feel they have to perform for him. He is a c*nt of the highest degree, I just hope Rodgers targets Terry by making Suarez play around him. I think Terry is on seriously borrowed time and slow.

Despite today's result - I would have preferred that City come 2nd to us than Chelsea, just because their manager did not make such a big deal out of the possible penalties they could have had.

I don't know why I've got the fear so bad about Chelsea. I mean they are fucking shit. And there's no way they'll stop us from scoring.

I just have and that's that.

It's a natural progression isn't it. We feared Man C before we played them. We fear Norwich before we play them and so on.
My focus is on Norwich tbh, I'm just keeping an eye on Chelsea hoping that they'll slip up.

They had the most convincing display vs us this season, I thought, in the first half at least.

Plus Mourinho is capable of putting together a package of antifootball and dark arts that can beat us on its day. He'll distribute fouls like a basketball team to kill counter after counter, he'll niggle Suarez, and based on his display against Man City, that could work. We did about as well against City as last time, if we play about the same against Chelsea as we did last time against them there's a definite risk we could lose.

That's all well and good, but we've got the stadium, we've got the crowd and we've got the team.

I've watched Chelsea a lot lately, and nearly every time they've looked laboured and toothless. They got lucky at the weekend because if Swansea hadn't had a man sent off for two yellows after FIFTEEN fucking minutes I'm pretty sure they'd have got something against them.

And yet, people are right to be worried. Firstly, because their fans are truly hateful scum and you can't help but dread seeing them prevail. And secondly, because Mourinho is well capable of orchestrating one outstanding performance, as he's done a few times this season, just when they've needed it. That's all they need, because they're not shit enough not to win those other 3 matches.

But, saying that, I think we'll be ok. The CL games are a major bonus IMO. Any news on Hazard's injury?
