Moyes sacked.

Ha, shares have gone up 6% since he was sacked. As if there was a need to pour more salt in his wounds...

I wonder what will happen when they put Redknapp in as manager...

Had more confirmation today that decision to move on from Moyes taken by Glazers after shambolic 0-3 home defeat to Liverpool on March 16

It must have added a hell of a lot of insult to injury. United not only had to deal with the fact that they're shit but also that we're good!

If we had been struggling in mid table all season the fans at least might not have been so hard on Moyes.

Hmm, debatable. They might have been all the harder on him if they'd been similarly humbled by a mid-table team.

David Moyes was overwhelmed by the challenge of managing Manchester United.

At the Manchester United training ground in recent months, some of the long-serving staff would come in and ask, with lips curled, “Are Everton in today?” It was a coded way of asking if the boss was in his office. David Moyes never did escape the disparaging label that he was an overpromoted Everton manager out of his depth from the day he walked, with trepidation, into Old Trafford.

50% - David Moyes had the third best win rate (league games) of any Manchester United manager in history (P34 W17)

Where's @Hyena? I told him that bumming Man Utd too badly might result in Moyes being sacked.

To be fair, he also lost by 3 goals to City TWICE, lost to WBA, Newcastle, Stoke and Tottenham, cross a billion times just to draw with Fulham, get dumped out of the CL, lose to Sunderland in the cup, got ripped apart by Chelsea and then got beat 2-0 at Everton. Also signed Fellaini for 27m, pissed off Giggs, Welbeck, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Hernandez, Kagawa, Neville...and brought the team down to 7th place from 1st.

I think it was a matter of time before Bobbins Man came after him, to be honest.
The season of Moyes was always going to be a brief but golden moment and I'm glad we didn't waste it with some shit draw /1-0 win.

I'd add, pissing off Van Persie & approving Rooney's ridiculous new deal to that fabulous list.
