Turn up at his new job in his Everton Tie.. :D

He's like the village idiot outside the mayor's office in Cuntsville, County Fuckbag.

It didn't take long for the bluenoses to reveal the deep-rooted irritation they nursed about him. Andy Burnham was talking last week about Martinez, saying how much he was looking forward too seeing the team not play with four centre backs.

Four centrebacks at the back, four centre backs in midfield and a centre back up front. Lord, how I hope he fails.

How we all hope he fails and they crumble further down the league.... I dont think it will happen though. I think it would probably be better if they came 2nd/3rd this season so that he can then further ruin them the season after.

To be fair he does have a few important players he will need to replace not only this summer but also in the coming years (if still in the job).

The end of a dynasty is nearly here.... Its like when Kenny left us and Souness transformed us..... lets hope that the same happens to them!

Like I mentioned previously, I don't think he'll fail miserably but by Man Utd standards, he wouldn't be as successful as a club of their stature should be. Regardless of how he manages them, just look at the competition they're facing. Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal - all set to strengthen and improve in 1 way or another (and sooner rather than later, Liverpool!) Tottenham too, depending on how they deal in the transfer market. In ECL, there's the usual challengers of RM, Barca, BM and recent returns of Dortmund, Juventus - just to name a few.

More often then not, the success or failure of these changes seem to hinge more on man management than on tactics. Look at Clough at Leeds - I'm sure he would have done okay had he not gone in determined to piss off the old guard. O'Farrell at the mancs couldn't handle Best and Charlton. Even Souey would probably have done much better had he not decided to boot out immediately anyone who didn't seem as passionate about the club as he was. With Moyes he's got several senior pros to control, Rooney to make a decision about and some cocky young so-and-sos like Welbeck. If everyone's fine I'm sure the team wiil tick over fairly easily for a season or two, but if he goes in too strong and ruffles too many feathers it could create enough short-term chaos for other clubs to exploit. (And of course any under-performance, while not meriting much comment if Ginsoak was still in charge, will now become a big media inquest, and Moyes doesn't seem that great at dealing with such pressure. We shall see.)

Agreed Macca. Moyes has replaced a lot of the staff of which Fergie has built his success on.
Will be interesting to see how that effects the team.
A world class team is replaced by top 5-6.

I hope he and the Mancs fails spectacularly.

Hate to say it but Man U will continue to dominate under Moyes, but I truly hope not.

I dint think they will crash spectacularly but I think they will start to decline slowly. I have never been impressed Moyes in term of him having an over all philosophy of how he wants his teams to play or in relation to what he has achieved.

At times I felt he was given an easy ride in the press compared to a lot of other managers and he will get nothing like that sort of freedom at Utd. I imagine they will finish 2nd next season, 3rd the year after and then the following year will be his last when they come nowhere near the title

Man Utd can only go backwards under Moyes. I still can't believe they've given him a six-year contract. It'll make things all the more satisfying when they have to pay a fortune to replace him.

I'd settle with him selecting this fucking thumb every week as a starting point.

I don't believe you can confidently predict United's fortune with any certainty.

On the one hand you've got a man who has never won a trophy managing one of the biggest and most successful clubs in the world (which is funny), but then there's no denying that Moyes is a strong, tenacious character, who buys good players and gets them to overachieve, and working under the guidance of Fergusson, contrary to the general opinion, will only serve him well.

For me, it's a coin toss.

Just for fun.

Results vs United since 2000 and results vs Everton since Moyes took over.

VS MAN UTD.

13 wins
15 defeats (5 of those in the last 3 years)
2 draws
GF - 38
GA - 40

VS EVERTON

13 wins
3 defeats
7 draws
GF - 33
GA - 17

Absolutely. Can't believe the fuss about him. He strikes me as one of those players whose flaws will be excused for just as long as his "youth" will stretch for. Then everyone will realise he's a headless chicken and he'll end up in the Championship.
