NBA Offseason and 2018/19

It's getting to be a bit of a joke.

That said there is no guarantee Boogie makes them better. There were reportedly dressing room issues last season. Boogie won't help that
Boogie won't be playing high usage minutes with the Warriors though. I suspect they'll use him as a roll man, for spot ups, and encourage him to pass out of the post if he gets inside.

I doubt they're going to use him as a point center.

If anything, it gives the Warriors the chance to be even more flexible in their style of play. You could roll out Boogie against some second units, and he'd absolutely flatten them if he wanted to.

Re: dressing room issues - apparently Boogie is best buddies with Draymond off the court.

Boogie
Draymond
Durant
Klay
Curry

Is that now undisputedly the most talented starting 5 to have ever been assembled in basketball? I think so. All under 30 as well.

Lol, is he crazy?

I find it difficult to blame Silver or the NBA for this. The Warriors haven't flouted any rules. They've actually built their roster the right way - through the draft. And capitalised at the right time to sign the right free agents. In re: Boogie - any team could have offered him a large contract, but they didn't for fear of his injury. The Warriors have taken the punt, and suddenly the rest of the league doesn't like it? I'm in principle opposed to the idea of the league vetoing trades.

If they want to find a solution to this problem, then they need to start seriously thinking about introducing a hard cap.

A Kawhi-DeRozan swap is in the works, as per both Woj and Charania.

That came out of the left field. Should address the competitive imbalance between the West and the East a tiny bit though.

I don't think we can predict anything with Kawhi at the moment.

I like how Pop knew Kawhi wanted to go to LA and found a way to send him as far away as possible.

Ha ha - I think LA played it great. They'll get him next year for 'free' (or a draft pick and a player at the trade deadline).

This should be pop's last year - hall of famer.

They did, they were right not to trade their young core for him. There's too much uncertainty about Kawhi at the minute.

The Lakers might not even for Kawhi in the summer - could they go after Klay instead ? I'm guessing they wouldn't have the cap room for both.

Rondo, Paul and Ingram involved in a big scuffle in the Lakers-Rockets game today. Punches thrown and connected. Pretty big suspensions on the way I suspect.

He comes off like a little pussy Ingram ...
really impressed by doncic ... this back court with him and smith ...

man oh man ... doncic is a fucking stud.
watching houston-dallas
houston is up 102-94 ...

Dallas is up 105-102
Fuck me what a talent.

Slightly off-topic, but has anyone seen that absolute freak-of-nature Zion Williamson, who's slated to be the #1 pick next year?

Built like a baby Shaq at 6'6, 270 pounds, but jumps like high school LeBron.

I think he'd immediately be one of the 5 best ever athletes in the NBA. Absolutely jaw dropping specimen.
