When I was working at the Port of Liverpool, the manager of one of our ports in Kent received a letter from Kent County Council, inviting him to a meeting to discuss light pollution.

He binned the letter because they only did heavy pollution.

10,000 seat increase which is pretty decent for just one stand extension and very limited disruptions to attendances last season.

I'm confident Anfield could sell out 65,000+ week in week out providing the pricing was reasonable. New stand or not, we're still years behind where we need to be.

I guess the problem is Anfield Road itself. They could not build the stand higher and backwards as they have with the Main Stand because the road is in the way.
