OFFICIAL - Rodgers Sacked !!

I get the being patient bit but I reckon a half decent manager could sort this out quite quickly. I know loads of you reckon all the signings have been shite but I think we've got a decent squad. The defenders individually are nowhere near as bad as they perform in Rodger's formations and a good coach would get them playing well. Midfield isn't dynamic enough but it's not awful either, and we've got real top class forwards, ace options.

Only 3 points off fourth, six off the top, played Manure, Arse and Everton away, plus the most difficult game of the season (West Ham at home)... we could have a good season with the right team in charge.

The only possible reason I can think of for not firing him in May and waiting until now was that they were after Klopp and had to hang on. But hiring Gary Mac and O'Driscoll doesn't fit with that strategy. Getting shut of them and not installing a caretaker suggests the manager is all but signed already anyways, which again points to Klopp.
The army never closed Woland.

I saw this as well but considering the size of Lippy the wee will be coming from a great height.

I wouldn't stand in the way otherwise you'll get splashed upon.
Perhaps he reads the splashes the same way people read tea leaves?

I'm looking forward to Klopp coming now. F*ck it, it's time to get excited. He will bring a media circus with him but who cares as long as we're winning.
Me too!

Except you remember all those bellends that called Rodgers Roger?

Well it looks like I'm one of those with Kloop

I said prior to the Everton game that a good manager can easily get this side winning regularly.

If we were playing to even two thirds of our strengths this season so far we'd be top of the league, everyone has been shit & inconsistent.

It's a perfect time for a new manager to come in, if he can get the basics right he'll be able to have a cracking first season imo.

Part of me agrees with you entirely.

The other part of me thinks our players are a bunch of overrated fannies that are too busy preening themselves, getting shit tattoos and earning too much money to commit to the level of intensity required to elevate themselves above mediocrity, regardless of who's managing them,

I agree with this entirely - Rodgers obviously tried hard but his shortcomings were becoming more and more glaringly obvious. We have a good squad with plenty of very talented players. Wish him luck but would advise not to pull that fucking envelope stunt thing again! Alarm bells were ringing when I saw that!

BTW - It's Klopp for sure.

I thought so.

I think there's a possibility that tiger was a perfect storm for Klopp to succeed at Dortmund that doesn't exist at Liverpool.

I'm of the belief that changing the manager, own its own, won't impact our situation significantly- positively yes, but not by a significant amount.

There are other things that need to happen for us to regain top tier status and these have to happen combined and not in isolation.

Agree with most of that, but I do actually think changing the manager - IF we fetch the right one in - could bring about a big improvement in pretty short order. I do agree though that more than the manager will need to change if we want that improvement to be a lasting one.
