Sahko put to bed the idea that,

he is a bad passer
he isn't great in the air
he isn't a great defender
he makes a mistake every game

He was f&cking unbelievable from start to finish yesterday He was our best passer andplayer. He got himself out of tight spots time and time again and always found a simple but effective pass. He won every dual either in the air or on the deck. He carried the ball forward when the pass wasn't on. When it was on he played it quickly and to feet on the deck. He crunched in the tackle. He slide in when the ball was there to be won. He won header after header. He couldn't have done any more for the cause.

If we go back to a back 4 him and Skrtel would be immense.

Absolute beast!

He was great but as a supposed defensive leader, shouldnt he have been in Moreno's ear that he should be covering Mata. Its on his side and he seemed content with letting Mata just linger out wide in a gap already behind Moreno.

He has been fantastic though. 3 at the back is ideal for him as I've never been truely convinced about his abilities in a back 4, he always seemed shaky which is where he got his reputation from however this season, having Skrtel as a pseudo sweeper has really seen him shine.

Nah, he didn't put it bed. The general consensus seems to be that he's shaky and bad on the ball. I don't think he'll shake that myth. Commentators regular imply he's a liability and lazy fans are lapping that up.

I can't help wondering if there's still a bit of a language barrier to be overcome. I doubt either Sakho or Moreno spoke much of each other's language, or much English, before they arrived.

I saw Sakho come over to Can and try to swap with him so that he could deal with Fellaini. He wanted the task of dealing with him. Henderson shirked it and Can wasn't up to it yesterday.

I dont think thats the general consensus. I think thats what a few people think. Most think he's boss.

You mean guys like Danny "diarrhea of the mouth" Mills? His commentary sounds like a mixture of Andy Townsend and a word for word reading of tweets from the "Football Cliches" twitter account.
