There a thread for this?

Anyway...

Cech to Arsenal eh?

Interesting move, but I reckon it's being overplayed a little. Or more that his value and worth is being overplayed. He hasn't played for 12 months, he's 33, and before he did get the shepherds hook for Courtois he wasn't amazing was he??

Good keeper n all that, very good keeper back in the day, but is it really that amazing a signing?

They need a centre back or two far more than him IMO.

I think 11m is a really good price for him. He will play for at least 3 years for them.

Is he that old? Damn, time flies.

I guess he brings that experience that everyone loves so much and perhaps some leadership, I don't know.

He's a good keeper, and will probably improve them, but you have to wonder if the fee, and more importantly the wages, could be spent better elsewhere.

I didn't think there was a lot wrong with Cech's form before Courtois replaced him. Mourinho went with the younger option, which is fair enough, but I don't reckon there was that much - if anything - to divide the two keepers other than age. That said, even now Cech has years of top class footy ahead of him, given that he's a keeper. I hope I'm wrong, but I could see this being a big step forward for the Arse if they strengthen the rest of the squad as well.

It's hard to say if it's a good buy, as Ryan says, he's at the tail end of his career and hasn't played much. He'll come in pretty much as a steady experienced player who will be decent if not spectacular and still prone to the odd gaff either due to his own waning career or Arsenal's typically lax defending.

I wouldn't lose sleep over it, personally.

What is happening with Szczesny? Is he getting the boot?

So Cech and Ospina as #1 and #2. That's decent.

He is good keeper who is amassive improvement on what they have.

Probably overpaid but so did scum with rvp and that turned out arlight.....

can't remember who it was on talksport but they seemed to think it was Ospina leaving

Time will tell on his ability to recapture his best form. Mourinho's right to object. They've strengthened a rival for next to no benefit to themselves. I'd have sold him abroad if he was that desperate to go. If he didn't want to uproot his family then accept a deal lesser club in England. It's a strange, and I guess compassionate decision from a club who are usually run pretty smart.

He's also played behind a much better than defence than he'll find at Arsenal.

I wish we had signed him - Which kind of says it all. Arsenal have done well imo.

I think Van Der Sar was older when the Mancs signed him.

Ramos to united looks to be on.

De gays house is up for sale on rightmove.co.uk apparently, definitely looks like it's happening

Stories earlier that Ramos is asking to leave, I wonder what happened. Bet he fucking hates Rafa already.

It's probably just a ploy for more money. I can't see him moving there. And even if he does, meh.

I like Ramos and I think he's a good player. I'm probably in the minority on liking him but surely people think he's a good player yeah?
