Trouble with that argument for your Manc mate is that, with no CL, they'll have a job attracting anybody decent to replace the departing dross.

Shame innit. :vamp:
Trust me dude - He's not exactly a 'mate' - More an idiot that 'acts out' - He's been texting me going on about the score in a gleeful way. Put it this way I'm glad I support Liverpool FC and am not a bitter, weird preening whopper. Come on Leicester!

True. Just saying that "top" players will still go to teams that don't have CL.
They do, but they usually aren't the very best players, certainly don't have the win at all costs attitude you want, more often than not, & you will always have to offer more cash & better contracts to attract them.

That scenario is exactly what has left Utd in the situation they are currently in, with players who aren't good enough to get them competing for trophies stuck on exorbitant contracts.

I’d love to bang that Karen7 over at bluefume. She’s defo into punching her. Dirty bitch.

Yes they will, but not the very best. But you raise an interesting point because I have often thought that we have been hindered with shit in the past that just won't leave or perform because it is shit but earning the best amount of dosh he can earn because he knows he is shit. Therefore as a consequence - it is actually not in its interest to leave the club. However, in United's case I suspect that two things are going on:

1) There are players that have good marketing value for some odd reason - e.g. Pogba, and therefore probably want out, and can use no CL footy as an excuse and also leave for less due to clubs circumstances etc..

2) There are players that I refer to above that are just bang average in a big team and that no other big team of comparable size would want, therefore the said player is happy to sit around and perform at that shit level, does not care about CL, as long as he is getting the money because his alternative options would be to take a pay cut elsewhere at a lesser team.

Anyway an interesting point of time for De Gea and Pogba to look for better contracts.... performing like relegation fight players.

Haha. That was a nightmare game...
You laugh...but its a source of hope for me. I know it sounds terrible but I am actually looking forward to their game more than ours on Friday night. I cannot be the only one that is just waiting foe them to trip up. I have convinced myself that the merciful Lord has not given us such wins against Everton and Spurs without an ultimate reason which cannot be anything other than to be PL league winners.

Which is why Solskjaer will go to the market he knows and sign a bunch of Norwegian defenders. The Kvarme phase of the decline, just the twenty more years until they begin the long recovery with their McAllister phase.

I wrekon (lol) there'll be a little smidgen of disappointment if City win the league amongst their loony fans. It'll fly in the face of their tinfoil hat conspiracy theory that everyone has rigged the league in our favour.

No, they, the righteous upstarts, those plucky underdogs, through sheer force of will, will have overcome even rank corruption.

Would love it to be Roy Keane.

Read that Mike Phelan will be the guy. Si you have Ole still playing all the Fergie players and reffering to him as "The boss" and you will have Fergies assistant from back in the days to have Fergie calling the shots. This will not be good.... for them!!!!

City fans watching Match of the Day are seeing signs

I’m paranoid now but what was a collective snigger all about when jug ears announced Sunday’s fixture. Some coincidence doing the social do Gooder feature at Burnley. And is it just me or has anyone else noticed theJugs top lip is slowly morphing into a replica of Camel Gobs. Take it we didn’t get a look in turned off when the Dyke wankfest started

PiGMOB have probably had a shout in his ears to put some money on Burnley. He’s got to support his meagre salary somehow

So, Ian Wright, (Arsenal) Alan Shearer (Newcastle, Blackburn), & Lineker (Leicester, Spurs, Everton, Barca) all know in advance that Burnley are going to take points off citeh for us, & all find it amusing?

How utterly bizarre they are.
