I want this guy. Humble gifted Intelligent pleasent has a great sense of structure & balance team wise Knows us. He can take us places.

Personal reasons just a hunch or what?

Lfc: Hello higuain, we want to sign you. We're looking at klopp

The hig: I'm barely interested in this proposition

Lfc: pako asteryan is another option we're looking at

The hig then blows his own brains

Yes Klopp would be Great. But will he come realistically higuain would probably still say no as you've pointed out.

I am happy to see Pako doing well. He always had nice things to say about us and IIRC was instrumental in convincing Xabi and Reina to come to us. But I think going from the Israel's league to us would be a jump too far for him. Look at Solksjaer who was ripping up the Norwegian league and did very badly in the premier league. The next manager has to be one with credentials of winning stuff in a top level league.

I am sure there are some smaller level clubs in Spain who are watching Pako's success with interest and he will get his chance there. Let him prove himself there first before we consider him as an option here.

What, because he built a hill and made players run up and down it?

At least the players looked fit back then.

I'd rather we had Pako involved in our players fitness routines than the drummer from Simply Red (who is actually on our staff)

I'm sure Pako's earned some credit but LFC need a big dog as manager at this point.

They need an experienced head with a track record of success who can also bring a team with him to give the players direction.

No trainees or wannabes.

Just because Rodgers didn't work out, doesn't mean we need to get the opposite type of manager in place. We went with experienced managers in Hodgson and Kenny, and they didn't work out either.

Obviously at a club of our size, it's important to have someone that is going to be comfortable with the pressures, and maybe that's where Rodgers has fallen down, but I don't think we should rule out younger managers.

TBH, I'd rather get the right guy in (such as Klopp) than to see Rodgers get replaced by a useless cunt, just for the sake of sacking him to make a point because he deserves it.

Experienced managers are quite a bit more likely to be able to deal with those pressures though. I agree we shouldn't rule anyone/anything out automatically but I for one would be happier with an experienced appointment, though it doesn't seem to be what FSG are after.
