LFC confirm Chris Morgan set to leave club role

LFC
Liverpool Football Club today confirmed head physiotherapist Chris Morgan is to leave his role this summer.

Club bosses have thanked Chris for his hard work and dedication during 10 years of service for the Reds, including the important contribution he has made to both the first team and Academy.
Liverpool FC said: "Chris is someone who commands the professional respect and personal warmth of the first-team players and all his colleagues at Melwood.
"The dedication and commitment he has shown to Liverpool, over a long period, has been immense. His expertise and experience has rightly gained him industry-wide recognition.
"We thank Chris for his considerable contribution and everyone at the club wishes him success for the future."

Weren't we recently linked with some guy at Bayern? Maybe this is related to that?

Probably. And Morgan got on well with Brendan, so I wouldn't be surprised if he moves to Celtic.

He's a great chap and Physio. Spoken to him a few times at various Physio courses I have attended.

**drops off CV to club**

So we have no physio and we still have no doc right, after Zaf left?

No physio, the youth team doc stepped up to FT duties after Zaf left. I guess Jurgen will bring in his own people this summer. We already have the Bayrern fitness coach and nutritionist on board.

Andy Massey is now officially the first team doctor, after the club wasted loads of money paying a headhunting firm to spend over a year searching unsuccessfully for someone more experienced.

Evaaa....eva..

Biscan, is it really you?

Either Tom's on a wind-up or the club has officially gone doolally. Achterberg's actually qualified for the goalkeeping coach's role and has made a pig's ear of that, so how's he likely to do in a role for which he has no known qualifications?

How has me made a pigs ear of it ?

I know thats the general consensus but I've never heard any evidence to back it up - so i always just place it in the 'insider' nonsense category

Our keepers have consistently failed to improve (to say the least) under his tutelage. He's been a worthy successor to Joe Corrigan.

Was he a Benitez or Hodgson appointment - seems like he was employed in between managers.

Didn't Reina have big problems with him?
