No, I was really excited about Walsh. I really believed he was going to be the next Dalglish.

Walsh was really unlucky. He had the most impossible of jobs as the King's replacement, but for half a season he was mustard and I began to think we'd pulled off a tremendous double, first replacing Keegan with the King and then actually finding a suitable replacement for His Majesty. Sadly Walsh then picked up a bad injury and, though he eventually came back from that, he was never the same again.

David Burrows. He was an animal- was it gazza he shut down in a game with stuff you'd probably do time for these days? I remember being quite young at a game once when he came on as a sub and the guy behind me just going "here comes the beast" and he was booked for his first challenge.

Did you not read my previous post ?!

Forgive me oh great one. (You forgot his title..)

Which asks the question... How many world cup winners have played for Liverpool?

Diomede may be the only one in recent times since roger hunt.

Jesus! That's some trivia question...

David Speedie. He scored against the Mancs on his debut and then got a brace against the Bitters a week later when Kenny was Boss. A month or two later he was cleared out by Souey!

Ian Callaghan and Gerry Byrne.

So while with the club lads - Hunt, Diomede, Torres, and Reina? And Callaghan and Byrne. Not bad.

Who's played a final while with us? Only hunt and Torres?

Gerry Byrne: 1957-1969, 333 games, 4 goals
1990 - Karl-Heinz Riedle: 1997-1999, 76 games, 15 goals
1998 - Bernard Diomede: 2000-2001, 5 games, F*%k all goals
2010 - Fernando Torres: 2007-2011, 142 games, 81 goals

Guess who has absolutely nothing, zilch, zip, nada, zero, nichts to do at work today. Go on, guess.

Anyone remember Titi Camara ?

Yep, Titi was a legend. Scored a cracker against Leeds I think. We were wearing that green kit we had. Titi also played the day after his father died. I think he said he didn't want to leave the team down. He seemed to like it here and was a bit of cult hero with some of the fans.
