Come on Mods - there should be one of these pronto after every match - not a continuation of the match thread.

Number of home games left:
Liverpool, Man City - 3
Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs - 2
Man Utd - 1

Number of away games left:
Arsenal, Man Utd - 3
Chelsea, Man City, Spurs - 2
Liverpool - 1

Our away form against the top 6 isn't a problem....it's against the bottom 6...

On the games itself, we played reasonably well first half...much better for the majority of the 2nd until fellaini came on and then collapsed when they started crossing the ball.

I feel a bit conflicted about this result and performance. Neither team were especially impressive, and the flashes of quality were never sustained. However, while it was disappointing to concede so late, a draw at Old Trafford - regardless of who is or isn't the 'form' team - isn't ever a terrible result.

Mignolet (8) made several good saves and was confident with his catching and punching. MOTM.

Arnold (6) a late replacement for Clyne and he acquitted himself well. There was a couple of poor decisions and he was a little hesitant at times, but he grew in confidence and made some good forays into their half.

Lovren (7) From his debut game, and throughout his Liverpool career, it's been clear that cool, calm and collected isn't his forte, but if you accept that it is possible to appreciate his performances. He was always involved and was impressive in the air

Klavan (6) not as involved as Lovren, but didn't make as many horrible errors as he has been recently, so an improvement

Milner (8) extra point for the penalty, and much better than his last couple of games. Back to business as usual

Henderson (7) great to see him back, he was maybe not quite as his usual level, but he wasn't far off and added much needed mobility and quicker passing to a midfield that is moribund without him.

Can (6) another player who stepped up performance after a poor run of games. He was sloppy and pedestrian in the first half, but was far more impressive and effective after halftime. Needs to keep improving and trying to get a higher level more consistently

Wijnaldum (6) perhaps a point off for missing two good chances with woeful finishing. Apart from that he was far, far more impressive than the dire Southampton game. Got stuck in and used the ball pretty well

Lallana (6) I prefer him further back, where he can be more involved and doesn't have to try and run past players, because he can't. Worked hard and was always involved, but didn't ever look a genuine threat

Firmino (5) I appear to be the only person who doesn't understand what he brings to the team, so I struggle to rate him, because I don't know what I'm looking for. It's clearly not goals, because he doesn't score many, but that's no secret and everyone knows he doesn't. Is it creating chances? Er, didn't do that either. I know! It's running and working hard. He certainly did that to an OK level I suppose. He's a decent player, but I like attacking players who score goals and frighten defences.

Origi (4) oh dear. He's a willing runner, no doubt, the biggest problem is that he simply isn't a very good footballer. Had one decent shot. And that was it. It's no secret we need a new striker - we needed one in summer - but I think we might actually need two, because you can't win titles relying on strikers like Firmino and Origi to score goals because they aren't very good at it

The corner came from Firmino winning the ball back off Jones. Pressured him, and Jones panicked. It was out of nothing, but he does it all the time. Works his bollocks off, chases defenders, wins it back, and we spring. I've never seen players jump so excitedly as when we win it out of nothing. It's quintessential Klopp, and our game is based around it. He's as good a pressing forward as I think I've ever seen.

It's why he plays, and why Sturridge sits on the bench every single week. Not because Sturridge "isn't fit or out of form". Because Firmino is a far better asset to the team than him.

So get your fucking head around it, cos I'm sick of listening to you.

A 5 for Firmino after that performance?? Hahaha! Yeah, no agenda at all.

Firmino was brilliant. Linking up play, pressing all over the pitch and winning the ball back.
Created several chances and should have had a goal himself.

SCMs Paul Merson doing his usual BS.

I actually thought Origi looked good, did well down the left and caused Jones and Rojo some real problems.

Disappointing not to see it out but no disaster. 5 point gap remains despite every man and his dog predicting a comfortable home win. The lads did well. We'll smash Swansea next Saturday.

It's a good result in the run of things, but it feels like a missed opportunity, I feel if Mané had been here, or Coutinho had started, we'd have won.

Nah, you're always wrong. Echoed by the fact that maybe only 2-3 people agree with you on this topic. Its getting a bit sad really.

You said Firmino could score 20 goals

You said Bravo was a top keeper

You said Kane was a one- season wonder and overrated

You said Spurs were shit and wouldn't be a threat

You said Lallana would get 15 goals

You said Origi could be world class

Everything you say is risible, laughable bollocks and is, without any exception, completely and miserably wrong

Mane has been an obvious and predictable miss

Just a shame we are so reliant on one player

I pity you Paul Merson, I really do, but hang in there.

Ming - 9 - MoTM - that save on Zlatan's FK was fantastic, as was the save on Mkwhatever. Was confident, and booted the ball well.

TAA - 7 - If it was Clyne, I'd have given him a 5 but because it's an 18 year old, in such a tough atmosphere who was obviously a bit in awe of the game, I was impressed. He's got a LONG way to go but the kid has so much potential.

Lovren - 8 - really good game.

Klavan - 6 - He's a solid option for us, but a 4th option. We need a CB to partner with Matip, with Lovren and Klavan deputizing (Lovren is too inconsistent).

Milner - 7 - fantastic penalty and as usual, no nonsense defending & active part of our attack.

Henderson - 7 - welcome back ... Will be even better once the midfield reverts to him, Gini & Lallana.

Can - 6 - his best game in ages ... Loved the way he bullied Pogba but he's thick, and that I don't know if we can overcome.

Gini - 6 - I wanted to give him a 4 but it's obvious why he's so key to the team ... Work ethic, non-stop pressure, control of possession etc ... The big problem is he is looking like Lallana 18 months ago, where he's missing really good opportunities ...

Lallana - 6 - better from the back.

Origi - 6 - In this kind of game, his inexperience holds him back a lot ... A lot of mistakes on the ball and his one goalbound shot was luckily defended by Jones. He beat Rojo on one play and could have seen him get red had he fallen when he was hugged from behind ... Another trick to learn.

Firmino - 7 - Once Coutinho starts with him, we'll see the goals and assists flow again.

Klopp - 7 - I wish he'd have gone with Coutinho-Firmino-Lallana. I think we'd have won with that - but Coutinho is obviously not ready fitness wise. If 2 of the Origi/Firmino/Studge group start, one will always be kak as they're on the flank where they just don't do as well.

Ref - 3 - If Lovren's tackle was a yellow, Pogba should have seen a yellow for his wrestling take down of Henderson and Rooney for stamping on Milner. It is fucking pathetic he let those go - cowardly.

As for the Mancs:

Pogba - he's no the player I thought he was ... I wonder if Mourinho will get enough pieces around him to allow him to rebuild his Juve reputation.
Herrera - is an absolute fucking cunt.

Pogba is prodigiously gifted in many ways, but from what I've seen so far, he isn't the brightest

His head fell off today

Another thread derailed by the same twat.
No doubt he won't get threatened by the mods.
Typical double standards for this place.

Derailed? Tuck your lip back in Leo

I've provided a superb match review and ratings, and simply indulged in light-hearted repartee with the hapless Hansern

It's a bit different to what you do, which is lumbering from thread to thread after me, calling me a cunt, and then moaning about it and waving your little invisible cards around asking for bans and warnings

Which is a bit shithouse isn't it?

Yah - definitely, which is why Juve was so good for him ... Around lots of winners ... If Jose does it there, Pogba will do far better.

This is a proper set of ratings. I was very disappointed in the ref, though at least he didn't bottle the peno decision and ignored a few poor dives from them.

The only solace from that shit is that the fucking cunt is hopefully being bent over as I type, with a ball in his mouth forcibly pleasuring that other whiskey faced cunt.

How our players are able to resist blasting the ball directly into the head of these referees and cunt linesmen is incomprehensible.

Where have I asked for a ban or warning?
I was just wondering why I was warned in the match thread for doing something similar.
Yeah but you are a cunt.
I've no problem with it.
If you can give it then you should be able to take it.

I thought Firmino did really well today actually. The only time we looked seriously threatening was when we nicked the ball from them at the back, & he did it repeatedly. He hassled, harried & harassed all match.

BTW, @Frogfish, thanks for the thread, you did a great job, love the screenshot from Sky & facts. I had to go get the kids school stuff ready sharpish after the match finished or I'd have done it, only not as well!

Yah - definitely, which is why Juve was so good for him ... Around lots of winners ... If Jose does it there, Pogba will do far better.

He's one of those instinctive force of nature players, more like a Gerrard than an Alonso, but Stevie was far more tactically clever

Still he's young, he might improve that side of his game, although I hope he doesn't

Makes the presence of a player like Carrick more important, and they need to get someone in to do that job in order to get the best out of him

Argue & fight outside of a match thread is way more tolerable, inside a match thread I cant be doing with it, simple as that really.
