Return, of the Ox

Really hope it works out. We do miss what he was giving us at the time of the injury and we haven't got that player to break the lines at the moment, maybe Keita will be, who knows right now. We've heard everything over the course of this injury from him being fucked career wise to now this early comeback. The comeback from this injury will probably make or break him as he heads into his prime. He has a great attitude though and Klopp loves him. If he can hit the form he has showed and bring it over the next 2-3 years while staying fit then happy fucking days.

Nice how he contrasts the support he's had from our fans against the negativity he received when injured at Arsenal (?).

Doesn't really sound like he'll be back as we know him this season though.

I never watch videos like that, I dont really care how the snowflakes feel (thats not YOUR knee etc) but hes such a likeable kid, I watched it. Hope hes back soon.

He seems a good lad. I like him. Both feet rooted on the ground and humble. A bit of a braveheart too.

And for some reason, I reckon we'll be seeing him a lot as a TV pundit once he retires.

Even if he's completely off the pace, it's not going to be that much worse than our current midfield.

We well might, but I don't think the reason's that hard to see TBH. He's a bright guy (for a footballer anyway) and has always been impressive in interviews, starting long before he joined us.

I was never a fan of him, and did not want us to sign him, even moaned (like a tit) at the price we paid, but now I love him, he was instrumental to a lot of our good spells last season, and was gutted to not have him when he got injured, even more gutted for him as a person for missing the big games that he did.

Can't wait to have him back.

I don't get it, is he back or is he still recovering?

Still recovering. They did a video about how his recovery is going. It is looking better than imagined considering there was talk of not playing again this season. It is still going to be a while though.

I was going top post on this thread, but you've summed up my thoughts exactly. So I won't bother.

I was a fan of his as you could see he had talent when he first came to Arsenal but he just stagnated. But in saying that i didn't want us to sign him regardless of how good he is because of his horrendous injury record. I just don't see the point in signing players who you know are going to spend long periods out injured. I don't see how we can ever rely on players like him.
