I had a tenner on Leicester City at 5/1 on the basis that you can't go wrong betting against United. When the score was Leicester 1 Man United 3 I thought I had lost my money. Now it's Leicester 5 United 3! :)

Grats man. I got my prediction totally wrong today for the prediction league but I'm happy as fuck for you! :D

This is the sort of thing this thread is for

SO many great quotes:

"I assume a lot of you are from Manchester"
"$131 AUS" WTF! Are United shirts more expensive that the norm?

LOL @ Waiting 2 weeks for it to arrive with Welbeck on the back - chin up!!

Great find and share Clogs

[article]Manchester United fans prepare to fly 'Come Home Ronaldo' banner

A Manchester United supporters' group plans to fly a banner calling for the "homecoming" of Cristiano Ronaldo during Real Madrid's next match.

Ronaldo, 29, left the Red Devils in 2009 after six years at Old Trafford, and increasing speculation in recent months has suggested he could return after growing disillusioned with life at the Bernabeu.

United Reel, a group of "diehard Manchester United fans from every corner of the globe," are determined to help lure Ronaldo back to Old Trafford, and say they will fly a light aircraft over Villarreal's Estadio El Madrigal during the match against Real Madrid on Saturday displaying the message "Come Home Ronaldo."

Cristiano Ronaldo made his Manchester United debut in 2003 before leaving for Real Madrid in 2009. Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted at a return to Manchester United.

A press release on the group's official Twitter page read: "United Reel have teamed up with their affiliated official Manchester United Supports Clubs [sic] -- MUSC United Arab Emirates, MUSC Lebanon and MUSC Egypt to show a "United" front to help bring Ronaldo home.

"Members from all over the world have donated their own money and resources to fund a mind game message, flown by plane during the upcoming Villarreal v Real Madrid football match in a bid to demonstrate to Cristiano Ronaldo how much the United Faithful still love and support him.

"With the current uncertainty regarding Cristiano Ronaldo's future, United Reel deem it essential that the player can not only feel but also see how much the fans still love him and how proud they are of his achievements since he left Manchester United.

"United Reel has active supporters on every continent of the world and we are all united by our love for Cristiano both as a football player and as a person. We stand united in our views and we won't stop until we BRING RONALDO HOME."

Ronaldo has been in fine form for Carlo Ancelotti's side and scored four goals in their 5-1 victory over Elche on Tuesday to take him above David Villa's 185 La Liga tally and into joint-10th in the Spanish league's all-time scorer list with former Los Blancos star Carlos Santillana.[/article]

Won't it be dark?

Just saw this: Allardyce's league record against his masters: P18, 2W 3D 13L

Allardyce himself said that anything more than a point would be a bonus at Old Trafford - this against a United team that's got 1 win in 5 league games.

Easy 3 points this weekend for the home team then. #NotWatchingStream

I heard van Gaal on the radio this morning, saying that he was going to have to play kids against West Ham, because his usual top-class defenders like Jonny Evans are unavailable. Looking at the bookies' odds, I saw that West Ham are 7/1 to win. That's worth a tenner at least I would say.

Nah Allardyce will lie down for them. Utd to steamroll them. 3-0 or something like that.

Utd end of October, beginning of November looks tough..

Few tricky games for them.. Our next few games are easily winnable..

I expect us to be well ahead of them by the time we play each other.
