So what can we expect from Salah in his second season?

I'm not sure anyone can expect the same or better but equally I doubt many see him flopping.

So what will we get in 18/19?
 
30 odd is what I have gone for. Defenders will try to go ultra physical on him, with the tugging, shirt pulling and what not, like what Young and a few had done to him near the end of last season. He will get less goals because of this, but he might be our permanent penalty taker so that will still boost him up to the 30-ish mark.
 
It’s 2/1 for him to score fewer than 20. It’s worth lashing 20 on that as he’ll either have a “poor” return or you win a couple of quid.
 
If we are talking about the league anything over 20 goals is a tremendous return for a player in a wide position who doesnt take penalties. I dont expect lightening to strike twice and Salah to get 30+ again this year. Midfield is going to have to contribute more of a goal threat this year, we didnt offer much in that department once Coutinho was sold.
 
The poll really should have stated if it was all competitions or just the league, ask Brendan, that completely changes the stats about a player.

Anyway I think he'll have a great season, just not as good as last, 15-20 league goals.
 
Mo's combination of attributes must be an absolute nightmare to try and counter. He's lightning quick AND tremendously strong on the ball, so even *if* you manage to catch him you then have a dilemma: give him space to turn and you're in trouble, but mark him closely and he'll more than likely roll you (unless you're Sergio Untouchable ***** Ramos). If he's fully fit and at it, I reckon he can get pretty close to last season's levels.
 
Nah, they'll be keeping a closer eye on him this season. I'm thinking 15-20 goals.
I think it's Firminos time to shine.
 
He will score a good amount again, but I doubt it will be as much as the season just gone.

I think it depends on how Keita, Fabinho, and even Alisson gel with the attacking line, I personally reckon between 20-25, but if Keita in particular fits in well with them it could definitely be around 30.
 
Will he not be off to the African Cup? If he is, I see less than 15 goals from him

You think he's lying to you man? You calling him a liar, huh? Nah, he's right. African cup is a Summer comp now, praise the Lord.
 
So the majority think 20-30.

Where are the other 25-25 goals gonna come from?

Ox is out
Can is gone

We haven't strengthened up top.

Keita will score some as will Shakiri but there is still a big gap.

Maybe a better defence means we won't need as many goals but I'm not confident at the moment.

If Salah isn't going to score 30 then Bobby is hardly going to do as well either will he?
 
And we’ve signed a keeper who isn’t a spaz. Add that to a full season of VVD and we’ll be sound.
