You make ego sound like a bad thing. Ego drove Ronaldo to be the player he is today. Sure, it also follows that he's a preening cunt, but he wouldn't be half the player without his Jupiter sized ego.
You can let football do the talking (like others do).
Talking of giant egos, don't know if you've seen this, it's pretty funny.

Moron nailed it.

Ronaldo couldn't score 40 in 45 if he was playing in the Premier League this season. And he has taken nearly twice as many shots per game this season.

I hate stats for anything really but 1 in 4 shots becoming a goal is fucking ridiculous.

People would have said nobody could score 30 in 33 in the prem before Salah did it.

Which people?

The same people saying Ronaldo couldn't score 40 in 45 in England.

People will always say it can't be done until someone does it.

Saying Ronaldos stats aren't as impressive because he does it in Spain is rubbish

Yeah hes a big stupee head

If anybody had said that I would have pointed out that's exactly what Suarez did in 13/14.

And if you don't think the Premier League is more difficult than La Liga how do you explain Aspas ?

Relationship twixt footballer and dwarf.

Some people get well defensive over the Spanish League ay?

Its shit because of the way their TV deal is structured.
If you dont think so go have a look how much the three teams relegated in the prem this year have spent this season vs lets say the ENTIRE Spanish League except the top 4.

Im not saying they dont produce great players, if they didnt they would struggle internationally.

How did Ian Rush go in Italy?

La Liga is the easiest of the top leagues to score in. There's plenty of evidence for this.

Haven’t the Spanish sides outside the top 2 done better in Europe than English sides, even the champions of the previous seasons, for years?

He felt like he was in a foreign country if i recall correctly.

I'm not sure what Italy 30 years ago has to do with the difference between England and Spain now.

Ha.

Comparing one players experience between the leagues is equally pointless.

Its not one player though is it ?

Morientes
Negredo
Soldado
Llorente

The high level of fodder in La Liga is the reason why goalscorers find it easier in Spain

Morientes was what 10 years ago? He was never prolific and was in decline when he came.

Are Torres and Aguero the only ones to score more in England? Costa maybe?

It’s not really a fair comparison either way, because the best strikers in Spain would always be at one of the top two clubs there rather than in England. We normally see the Shane Long equivalents trying their luck in England. By the same token, would the mid to lower tier strikers in England score more goals in Spain? Not too sure.
What’s certain though is that the top level strikers, the rare ones playing in Spain and coming over to England listed above, did score more goals in the Premier League than La Liga.
