So...the Dreaded West Ham Game

Our CB pairing consists of a guy who couldn't get a game for the worst side in the league and this guy:

has a professional athlete ever looked more pathetic?

The recently-elevated to the pantheon of great defenders, Caulker, pulled out because of a bad back. Cue mass weeping.

How old are you? 8? It's a fucking classic that gif.

It is a classic gif but it also show how shit the english referees are. It is a clear cut read card and not to Lucas. If anyone of our players reacted and got sent off after being pushed in the face then that player is the real idiot.

The referee didn't do his job and that is why this gif is a classic. Lucas did nothing wrong but people still think that he is the idiot when in this case the Blackburn player and the referee is the real idiots.

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Flanagan, Lucas, Ilori, Smith, Stewart, Chirivella, Teixeira, Coutinho, Ibe, Benteke.
The only real weakness (I'm ignoring Mignolet) is at CB, otherwise the team is interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing how these young players in midfield get on against a much stronger West Ham midfield (they did well last time but that was with Brannagan and I don't think Chiravella is at his level yet). The attack could cause problems, definitely an interesting mix of skill, power and pace. Happier with the FBs too.

Klopp and I have seen the same thing. Lucas as a central defender is no problem. He played in that position without any problem and hasn't done a single big mistake yet as a central defender. He is even better in the air than Sakho but that isn't that difficult when you consider that Sakho only win around 63% of the duels in the air.

So what do we know even before the game? The answer is that the referee will be shit and make som very big mistakes.

Imagine Brendog was still Manager and played that 11. Meltdown.

What about if Hodgson did it? Or Kenny? Or Rafa? Or Houllier? Or anynoe?
At what time will we stop with the "just imagine what would happen if x manager did this and that" at every decision taken, its tiresome and boring to say the least.
