BORINI

The Italian, who is on a season-long loan deal from Liverpool, has contributed in other ways too. He has created 20 chances which is the sixth best at the club. One of those chances turned into an assist. The forward has completed 75% of his passes throughout the 27 Premier League appearances he’s made. That figure is the best amongst the club’s forwards – another reason why he could be the main man when Sunderland travel to London this weekend.

Another one might be that the Chavs let him go earlier in his career and he may feel he has a point to prove.

Agent Borini, prepare yourself.

edit: Oops, I got over-excited and highlighted Flano's nil progress on the subs bench as well. Well, bonus point for his tent I guess.

Suarez went level with Torres on the Liverpool all-time scoring charts today. 81 goals in 130 appearances.

Torres had 81 in 142.

@King Binny do you know where to find a graph tracking our league positions throughout this season ? for some reason i can't find one for this year.

[article]Tim Sherwood has the best win percentage of any Tottenham manager in the Premier League (58%).

Tottenham have come from behind to win a league-high 17 points from losing positions this season while Stoke have the second best total (15).

Last weekend Wilfried Bony scored in the 45th minute and the 90th minute for the second time this season.

Michu has scored two goals this season, a decline of 16 from his debut season. This equals the Premier League record for goal falloff from debut season set by Kevin Phillips (30 goals to 14).

West Ham have lost a league high 20 points from winning positions this season, while the Baggies have thrown away 15.

This is Manchester United's lowest points total (57) through 34 league fixtures since 1990/91 (56).

Norwich have the lowest shot conversion rate in the Premier League this season (8.7%).

Sunderland have taken only eight points from 15 games against teams currently in the bottom half of the table, 10 fewer than any other side. They have scored just one goal in six home games against the teams currently in the bottom half.

Liverpool have now scored 3+ goals in 20 league games this season, matching Manchester City's Barclays Premier League record set two seasons ago.

Liverpool are the only team yet to lose any points from a winning position at home this season.

Luis Suarez needs five goals in Liverpool's last three games to set a new record for a player in a single Premier League campaign.

Liverpool need four more goals to become the 30th instance of a top-flight team scoring 100 goals in a single season (and only the second since the 1960s).

A win in this game (Liverpool v Chelsea) will see the Reds equal their best ever run of wins set in the top-flight (12 in 1990).

Only Liverpool (11) are on a longer current winning streak in the Premier League than Crystal Palace (5).

Lukas Podolski, with 19 goals and 11 assists in the Premier League has the third best mins per goal involvement in the competition's history (97 mins), behind Thierry Henry and Sergio Aguero.[/article]

That last pic is incredible. Maureen certainly knows how to shut up shop when winning
