He's got class this lad.

My money's on him coming in and looking the business straight away.

DiMarzio claiming that Sampdoria close to signing Muriel for 12m euro.

Udinese asking for 15m euro.

There's a moneyball signing right there.

I suppose with Muriel having no goals this season, he can only get better?

On the assumption he'll get plenty of game time this has to be a good thing. And afterall, if Gerrard had worked with Rodgers at this age he would have won umpteen league titles...

he's hardly scored from open play, he's another borini

Have you watched him play mate? Lille are a relegation candidate this season and shite.
He's nothing like Borini but has a lot to prove mind.
The potential is massive. Pace, strength, movement and finishing. Look at his performances for Belgium.
He'll need time obvs, but he can be superstar.

Nah I dont know a thing about him, im just jumping to uninformed conclusions, I just think people are in danger of overhyping him purely because of how shit our striker situation is

Depends though mate. He's being played out wide left in a poor team and looks disinterested aswell.
The fans have turned on him and the next 6 months could be a complete waste. Better to let him get 6 months at Anfield in that case. Swap him for Borini sounds a good move. Lightning fast and will suit us much better.

He's far from 'lightning fast'. Strong and pacey would be more like it, he reminds me a lot of Lukaku.

Lol, careful, your agenda is showing.

Lane bound? Danny Ings knows how to celebrate goals too
Tottenham are considering making a £5million bid for Burnley hitman Danny Ingsbefore next Monday’s transfer deadline.
Chelsea and Manchester City – both keen to increase their number of homegrown players – are also monitoring Ings’ situation.
But Spurs may try to steal a march on their rivals this month because of their concerns about missing out if they become involved in an auction for Ings in the summer.
England Under-21 striker Ings’s current Burnley deal expires at the end of the season.

Spurs chasing: Ings' Burnley contract expires at the end of the season

And Ings is likely to cost one of Burnley’s Premier League rivals around just £3m training compensation if he joins then.
But he will be in line for a bumper new contract and Spurs don’t want to run the risk of being blown out of the water by either Chelsea or City.
Burnley boss Sean Dyche has maintained that his seven-goal top scorer Ings is going nowhere this month.
But the Clarets will have a decision to make if Spurs table an offer worth more than the compensation fee Burnley stand to receive in the summer.

i don't see anything distinctive in INgs and am troubled by the % of a our poor Brit signings - but 5m is a gamble worth taking.
