Feyenoord came back from 1-0 down to win 2-1 away at NEC Breda (91st min winner). 9 wins out of 9, 27 points (8 points lead over 2nd placed Ajax who have a game in hand), 25 goals scored and 3 conceded. Would be made up for Kuyt if he manages to win the title with them.

All 9 wins with Brad Jones in goal as well.

Also Nicolai Jorgensen is now joint leading Eredivisie scorer. Expect a KHL thread soon.

Ajax won so back to 5 points behind Feyenoord who they are playing next week. Should be fun.

@cloggypop how good is Kongolo? The Feynord FB.
saw him in some highlight looks a very good player, quick as fuck and great crosser. seems to do it with precision.

He's normally a CB I think. He was at LB when I saw them against Roda and he was pretty good but then again Roda were terrible. He was very funny after he scored, really seemed to enjoy it. I guess he doesn't usually score many.

sorry I meant precision not pressure but thanks for the update.

According to transfermarkt.de, this season Kongolo has played 7 games as a LB and 7 as a CB. Last 5 in the league has been as a LB, so perhaps he will settle in this position. Already a key player in a very good Feyenoord team, who look to be running away with the league this season. He reminds me of Bayern's David Alaba – quick, tall, good cross and versatile enough to play in different positions. He is 22, Swiss-born, but of Dutch-Congolese descent, has been in Feyenoord youth system since age 15 and already has 3 caps for Netherlands national team. Definitely someone to watch, he looks more promising than Jetro Willems for me.

Was impressed with their young right back aswell. Played the last two international games for Holland.

Anybody know anything about the Middlesbro #17, Barragán, ? He looked very solid indeed against Arsenal yesterday. Tall, good header, good control on the ball, strong, good tackler, excellent crossing .. not sure about pace.

Karl Robinson left MK Dons after six years in charge too.

Nine Championship clubs appointed new managers before the start of the 2016-17 season, but Zenga's departure from Wolves means only four of them remain in their posts.

Roberto di Matteo, Paul Trollope, Nigel Pearson and Alan Stubbs left Aston Villa, Cardiff, Derby and Rotherham respectively in October.

Football pundit Micky Quinn claims he’s heard that #LFC will bid for Southampton’s Virgil van Dijk in January

I'd love for this to be true

Good news – but when will we finally bid for Southampton's sporting director and head scout? :)
